an excellent ultralight folder
The lightest and slimmest knife I've ever had which makes it easy to forget about in the pocket. Glides open with the flipper and has a great sharp tip. I didn't like how the pocket clip it comes with rides high, but thankfully a civivi clip fits without having to modify anything. Overall a great option if you want a super light and slim knife.

Not the old Al Mar, But a very good knife for the price
I am impressed with the edge on the blade of this knife, and the ease with which it opens. It is capable of one N handed operation either left or right handed, and it’s just about the right size for every day carry. The only thing I don’t like so well is that the clip attaches about 3/8 of an inch down the handle, which leaves that bit of handle sticking up out of your pocket, where it can poke you if it is at an inconvenient angle, or catch on things like jackets. I prefer a clip that is flushed at the end. This knife appears well-made, and compares well with the Boker and Kershaw knives At the same price point.

AL MAR EDC FOR THE BEST POSSIBLE PRICE
Are you kidding me??? An Al Mar folder for this price... For those of y’all who don’t know about this maker and the extreme demand for his knives; you are forgiven. Just joking. But the truth is that Al Mar is a legend in his personal life and the knives he made famous. Especially the smaller super sharp design of the blades that are a hybrid spearhead pointed grind with incredible alloys that allowed a very small folder to exceed its size. This model is not the best of the Al Mar world of expensive beautiful super knives; but it’s still a great carry knife. With the legal blade length and its easy flipper and liner lock; this knife is lightweight and very tight. The liner lock is thin, but it snaps into the middle of the blade base for a great lock that can be tough to achieve with other liners. I almost always prefer a lock back over liner lock because of this problem that can be fixed by adjustments made with a Torx tool. But it’s much better when the lock is perfect out of the box. For the above reasons... this is a great recommended item!

Light and great flipper
Well, it’s light. It was reasonably sharp and the flipper action is crisp and works very well. I bought it to have in my swim suit or workout shorts without trying to pants me. Went swimming with it no problem and I really like it so far. It’s small and handy and fits exactly what I was looking for.

Perfect size
I wanted a knife to have handy in my pocket like my husband. This is the perfect size for a smaller hand. Handy to use. Love it. Just remember to take it out of your bag if going to the airport.

Great assist open
Initially felt a little cheap and not smooth in the hand. I had a Kershaw al mar am-3 that felt much better in hand for the same price. The open on this knife is easy and crisp, the close has zero resistance unlike most assist knives. Issues I’ve had with other assist knives is opening in pocket, not fully deploying, and spring pressure when closing. This knife seems to have none of those issues making this a great pocket carry knife.

Bought as a backpacking knife
Bought as a backpacking knife. Needed something ultralight, easy to operate with one hand, and sharp. Very satisfied with the quality and functionality of this knife. Be aware the red logo on the handle will rub away on your pants pocket if you use the clip.
