Chess Concepts and Coloring Book for Kids

I purchased one for each of my boys. My 12-year old enjoys reinforcing previously learned concepts, and with the large drawings coloring is still fun for him. My 7-year old loves this book. He reads it aloud to whoever will listen, and enjoys the story-telling aspects. Chess strategy and helpful tips are included throughout so the whole family learns a thing or two for our next match. Highly recommend this book for children and adults of all ages!

This is an exceptional coloring workbook for kids. My 6 year old loves it and is super engaged working thru both the examples and coloring pages.

Good strategy but not much of a coloring book

Great workbook coupled with coloring for the younger child, an easy and interactive way to get any kid started on chess.

Great book for the novice or beginning player. Nice succinct lessons with large, helpful illustrations to color!! A must buy for kids learning chess.

This is an interesting coloring and informative book for beginning chess players. I purchased this book for a 10 year old student of mine who is obsessed with chess. I think he will like it and use it well. There is a bit of child friendly information about specific chess pieces and things to watch out for on each page followed by a simple drawing that can be colored. 5 stars, because I know he will like it very much.
