Perfect size for holiday gathering

I bought two of these to give as gifts this Christmas to two young family members starting their own homes. I thought this would be a nice starter piece for their own Lenox collections. They are lovely pieces!

This is a handsome and well made salad bowl, with clean symmetry and lines, and a beautiful holly pattern. Our only small quibble with it is that the color was slightly paler and cooler green than we expected, and looks cool minty green, as opposed to a deeper, darker shade of green (what we associate as "Christmas green"). The first two photos on the product page seem slightly warmer green than our actual bowl, but the remaining pictures seem to more accurately reflect the true shade. The server spoons are well crafted and the inside of the handle is flat so they position tightly together for serving. The wood is very smooth and attractive. One could also wish for a plastic lid for transporting it to parties, but a nice holiday piece, to be sure.
