blxmw Black case X-Light Micro Flashlight

I have owned this company's other this little flashlights for several years. I keep one on all my keychains, on my camera bags, in my car, basically any place I think I might need an emergency light. I can't even begin to count how many I have given as gifts. They are quite simply the best little flashlights made in my humble opinion. I decided I wanted one in black so I purchased this one.What makes me wax poetic about a silly little flashlight? For one thing, it ALWAYS works. I've yet to have one fail on me because of a battery or bulb problem. They are so so so durable. Many times I have been in a dark setting and have pulled out this light to read something or find my way and someone will comment that they, too, have a keychain flashlight but it stopped working. I did have one of these that finally died after years of being on a keychain subjected to constant abuse by from the clanging keys, rain, falling in the snow, etc, but I am telling you it hung on strong and bright for long long time.A couple of nights ago I took this outside with me to test how far it throws light. I was standing outside my door and it threw the light across my yard and lit the trees across the street. There aren't even a lot of flashlights that do that. And it fanned out a pretty bright patch.Bottom line is this.... you can waste your money on other look alike keychain flashlights but they just wont last. I know, I've tried many of them. This thing will last and last and last and at the price you can get it here on Amazon, I guarantee you you'll be getting more than your money's worth. You should probably pick up two and I am sure you'll find a use for them both.I don't work for the company and no one is paying me for this review. This flashlight is just that great.

The thin area of the case next to the button broke within a few weeks of carrying this in my pocket. The light overall was very good, providing plenty of working light, adjust-ability, etc. but the case cracking that quickly is a showstopper.

This little light is surprisingly bright. It is an LED with no optics, which means the majority of the light goes forward rather than to the sides. This makes it more useful as a small flashlight to see things rather than a marker light to allow others to see you. Make no mistake, if you shine the LED in the direction of someone, they will see you...but someone off to the side or slightly behind you may not.One feature I really like is the design of the dimmer. If the light is on, simply hold the button to dim the light. If the light is off and you hold the button rather than simply press it, the light will slowly brighten. This allows you to use a small amount of light in darkened conditions without completely ruining your night vision. Once the light is turned off and back on, it will revert to full brightness.I should also mention that this was sold and fulfilled by Amazon. It came in LRI packaging and appears to be the real product. Several reviews for LRI products report cheap knock offs (fakes). That is not the case here. The real LRI product is nice.

Cool, inexpensive, multi-light mini flash light. It's very good for many different uses.

This flashlight broke, I only had it for less than 8 months.

One of the three I bought broke within a few months. It was on my key ring.

...very convenient. I put it on my keychain, and the light is bright. I like that the batteries are replaceable.

These are great keychain lights however I was a bit disappointed that it only stays on momentarily, about 15 seconds, instead of constant until shut off like the older model I have. Update. I didn't read the directions on the box but in another post found that by holding down the on/off button until it cycles through and shuts off it turns off the demo mode that is set from the factory.
