These are easier to put on than standard compression, especially for larger legs and for people with difficulty even touching their feet. I have used these myself and like the way they cover the feet as well as the leg without covering the toes. I use these also on an elderly person with many health issues and extreme swelling in her ankles. She can get these on by herself although it’s some what hard for her to get the zipper up. You need to hold the sides together for the zipper to close. The only improvement I would like to see it a larger cover area where the zipper rests against the skin at the top. I tend to roll the top over on itself to cushion it from the leg and keep it from unzipping itself. I would get again.

My wife suffers from "leaky" veins in her legs as well as discomfort. I purchased these for an elderly female relative who weighs less than 130 pounds. When placing them on her legs, I need assistance "pinching" the top of the zipper area together to successfully get the zipper all the way up. I always place a finger behind the zipper area to ensure that I do not pinch her skin when zipping, but the construction of both zipper and stocking is very good, so this has never happened. (A snap tab sewn at the top would solve this problem). These are far easier to put on than non-zippered stockings. The physical therapists who have seen them always comment positively regarding these zippered support hose. Buy a larger size than your normal size. For this petite woman, I purchased a size large.

I have had problems with my calves feeling like they wanted to explode. This would bother me around the clock. When I went to the doctors I mentioned how much pain I was having and she suggested getting some compression stockings. I have hesitated because I had felt that if they already feel like they want to explode how would adding more compression help? I put them on this morning and it has been such sweet relief all day long and as I lay down for the night I do not have hardly the pain that I usually have. I did take them off to lay down for the night. They were easy to pull up a little bit tight on the zipper I was glad I got the extra large. But compared to compression hose I have had in the past these are awesome! I definitely will be buying a couple more pairs just to keep them washed and dried and ready to go I don't want to be without them.

I bought these after struggling with trying to put on a regular pair of compression stockings They are for my husband and he says these are great. Easy to put on and comfortable all day.

I love the fact they have a zipper! My others are sooooooo hard to get won and the open toe lets me wear sandles.
