Anne / Anne With An E: Seasons 1-3 (DVD 3-Pack)

I enjoyed this series so much I've watched it three times that's why I bought it I think it's a very important series to have in your collection it's life learning skills we shouldn't judge people based on how they look because there's a lot more to them than meets the eye.

Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad & Sopranos often rank among the best TV shows of all time. I would consider "Anne with an E" to be among these greats, if not above them. The acting in the series is superb... it's just a shame that the show was canceled after just 3 seasons. The 3rd season wraps things up pretty well and is a good ending point, but it would have been nice to see it go on for a few more. I was skeptical at first that this set was actually available for purchase so soon after season 3 ended, but I wasn't disappointed, as the DVDs come with special features etc. I only wish a Blu-ray format was available, but that isn't a deal-breaker for me. The story and the acting are what shine in this series. The sets are wonderful, too, but can be enjoyed at DVD res. Don't miss out on this amazing TV show!

It is true that some "politically-correct" elements were added to this adaption. It would have been better without them. However, the acting and cinematography are top-notch, and the episodes are very engaging. Amybeth McNulty is absolutely outstanding as Anne. I wish that the series had been continued for more seasons.

great story and packaging

On time, as promised, and a great show

The DVDs are in perfect condition. I love the series and all the storylines. The only complaint I have is when it was delivered, it went to my neighbor's house instead of mine. But other than that, the DVDs and show are great.

I loaned the first two seasons to my niece and she loved it so much, I gifted her with all three seasons. She was thrilled.

The "but" is because it had numerous occasions of homo-sexual people in the story so I didn't feel I could give my copies to my niece or grand-daughter.
