how many mah?

I believe these are 1200 mAh. We use a lot of lithium 9 volt batteries at my company so I did capacity test. Unfortunately, my battery analyzer had an error and didn't complete the test. At the time of the error, the tested capacity was 942 mAh and the voltage was 7.49. The discharge setting was 0.25 amps. I may do another test in the future but since these are primary cells you have to waste a battery to do the test.

Are these 1200mAh or 600mAh? It's weird this critical specification is missing for these batteries.

Must be 600mAh if it were 1200 they would say so.

Are these batteries the same size as a standard alkaline battery or are they slightly larger like the Energizer lithium?

Is the Amazon 9 volt lithium battery UL (or equivalent) approved?

UL (Underwriters Laboratories) is an organization that safety checks small appliances and other electric devices that use household power.  It does not test or approve small batteries, like these 9 volt batteries, or 1-1/2 volt cells like AA, C  or D cells.  If you find a UL approval on these batteries, chances are it is bogus and put there to make you think that it's a better battery.  It's a marketing trick, put there to to help sales and fool those who don't understand what follows..

Batteries are low voltage, Direct Current (DC) power sources.  Household power is Alternating Current (AC), which is far more dangerous that DC at voltages approaching household voltages (110 -120 volts here in the US).  In other countries household power  can be 220 -240 volts.  110-120 volts is safer, but it's still dangerous to people.

The UL approval is a safety rating for AC appliances and the like, which could pose a physical threat from AC current leakage, or even electrocution.  Batteries are low voltage DC devices that do not pose such a threat to users.  AC can be lethal at household voltages, or higher.  But it's amperage that is the real threat, not voltage.  It takes only a fraction of an ampere at household voltages to kill.

I would not buy a UL approved alkaline battery or similar.  It would be nice if UL had an approval for alkaline batteries that would test their ability to remain leak-proof over their rated life span.  But that is not what UL is about.
