Perfect shoes

These are classic great comfy clogs. I have had many pairs of other Birkenstock clogs, and these are superior for a few reasons: they have the supergrip soles; they have an adjustable back strap which also looks nice flipped to the front; and the pop of red in the sole really makes them more stylish! Really excellent.

I finally bought a pair of Birkenstocks clogs for my culinary school. Now, I know the reason why chefs everywhere prefer to wear them. It’s so comfortable it helps when you are on your feet all day. My classmates noticed them immediately today when I worn them for the first time. Two of my classmates have decided to buy them as well. I am planning to buy another pair but different style. If you are reading this and you are on your feet all day, Burkenstock shoes is the only choice you need to make. As a side note, you need to break into them before you start complaining; but once you have broke into them, you will not go back to any other shoes but BURKENSTOCK.

5+ months on "the Job" and already the sole is detaching. Been cooking professionally for 12+ years and these are the only shoes I wear. But they are not made the same anymore. Sad. I used to wear these clogs for well over a year +...not not even half a year. Need a new kitchen shoe recommendation or maybe these were not official Birkenstocks. Can't say for sure.

I've been using regular Birkenstock Bostons, Supergrip Bostons and Supergrip Philadelphias (discontinued) for almost a decade now. These are my go-to shoes for the use in a commercial kitchen.The Kay-style is discontinued in the USA,but still widely available from some vendors with access to the European market.Compared to the Boston clogs, these have an additional strap that can be used as a heel anchor. They also are made with a soft footbed, whereas the Boston and Philadelphia clogs I've used in the past were both hard, which makes the first days of wearing them much more enjoyable.The gripping action of the sole on these clogs is phenomenal. and the finish on the leather upper is pretty heavy duty too.I would recommend these to anyone in the culinary field, especially if you have wide feet. People with narrow feet may not like the fit in the toebox of these clogs.

Chaussure qualitatif, très comfortable. Adjustable. En term de taille je vous recommande vivement de descendre un taille, et rester sur du regular si vous avez les pied large. La largeur est généreuse. Je fais du 42-43 large, et le 41 regular me va comme un gant. (Sinon les mesure en cm sont disponible sur le site Birkenstock)

Birkenstock are not overrated! If you need a pair of shoes for long days of standing and walking around, get a pair, they are great for the kitchen and this pair are extra comfortable. My first pair took some breaking in, but these are designed specifically with a soft bed, so you don’t need to wear them in. For the price, I am very happy. They fit perfectly, so I do recommend getting a half size smaller than normal…. I’m a size 42 and these are a 41
