Put some in the laundry room. So much brighter. Then put in the garage too. Fantastic.

These lights made a big difference in my garage and basement. They are very easy to install and provide a ton of bright white light wherever you aim them. I have seen other models with plastic backing on the LEDs but these are ceramic and will handle any heat and stand up much better over time. I did not need the small bulb sockets; they are plastic and I probably would use a heavier duty fixture so I have not used the included ones. I will probably buy a couple more now that I see they do a good job. Good replacement for long fluorescent fixtures since they are compact.

So I read a lot of reviews on lights before I bought these and gave them a try. Agree with one reviewer that if you look at them directly, you might sear out an eyeball, but they really do work as super illuminating garage lights. I put 'em on a motion detector switch as well and now the whole thing is set it and forget it. The five stars for install is pretty obvious, just screw them into a light socket. They are large though, so if the socket is in a tight spot you might have a problem there. Highly recommend.

I previously had six regular 100-watt bulbs in my garage which lit up the space pretty well. There were still a few shadowy areas so I wanted to brighten things up a bit. I bought 6 of these and I almost returned them because they are so bright I almost blinded myself just installing the darn things. The light is incredibly bright but also very cold. Keep this in mind if you are replacing "warm" bulbs as things will look much different in your space with these.I initially installed them with the lights pointing directly down but that made my garage feel like a prison, with very harsh, well-defined shadows. I angled the light arms up by 10-20 degrees or so and that seemed to soften the shadows some. I thought about buying some stick-on light diffraction film but the only ones I could find were advertised as *dimming* the lights as well which I didn't want.

The only thing that didn't work for me were the plastic holders. Our electricians said they didn't work well for the boxes we had in the ceilings to attach the previous 4 tube, 4' fluorescents. I purchased porcelain ones for a couple bucks each at the big box store. They installed 6 of these in my garages and they provide great light. I am very happy. They aimed them so that the light would not be in my eyes as I entered the garages, as they are bright, just like I wanted! I recommend these. People with lower ceilings might want one not as bright, using less energy, but for my garages, they are perfect!

Easy to install. These are great !!!! Stop looking at other brands....These are what you have been looking for. I placed these on my back porch and it lights up 600 square ft area and then some. As for the garage....I never knew the floor was painted gray, could not see a thing with those old flood lights. Ha ha. Purchasing more now. Thank you ;)

I can't believe how well these have worked out. I installed 3 of them in my 25' x 26' garage and have not needed a single extra light anywhere. Family and friends refer to turning these on as "turning on the sun". I couldn't be happier.

These lights are easy to install, and they are extremely bright. I have finally replaced all the lights I have in my basement with these lights at it is amazing.
