IKEA Lixhult Cabinet, Metal, Gray

These little cabinets are a bit smaller than I imagined but they do the job. I ordered two, and so I may order a third in order to contain all that I’d wanted to. They are a neutral light gray color which will go well with many color schemes. They aren’t heavy; the metal is thin, but they will be sturdy enough for me. I like the all-metal construction because manufactured wood is toxic due to formaldehyde use and other chemicals. It’s bad for your lungs, whereas metal is inert and totally recyclable. They are smooth and will wipe clean easily. My husband had no trouble with assembling them. I’m so glad these were available on Amazon because they weren’t available for shipping on the ikea website, and I certainly didn’t want to drive the 10 hours to my nearest ikea!
