Expensive but really good. I read a lot about different styles/options for covering the gap. This one had the best reviews, and here's another.Silicone vs metal. I was tempted to do with silicone, but read many reviews about them folding up and not laying flat. But metal ones have sharp edges. Well, this one does not have sharp edges, they are rounded.Fixed size. This one is one solid piece of metal, made with the understanding of standard stove/oven sizes. Adjustable ones all have two things I didn't want, sharp edges and a seam where the two shorter pieces of metal overlap.Some people wanted some watertight seal between oven and counter top. This isn't that, but that's fairly unrealistic and rather unnecessary, in my opinion. This is visually tight and snug.Rather expensive, but does the job very well, and my last stove lasted 26 years, so I think it will pay for itself over time!

This is the only product of its type I have seen so far that accommodates a gap between a stove that is slightly higher than its adjacent countertop. The springs and rounded edges offer an added ease of handling.The strip fit perfectly on one side. Because my new stove is a tad bit wider than my old one, the center of the strip on the other side does not fit perfectly flush along that section of the countertop. Moving the stove is not a solution because of the overall tight space. The slight lift is obvious only to the person who gets down almost eye level to the installed strip. I will be occasionally sliding a wet paper towel under the strip through that area to clean out any rare bits of debris that find their way in there.Anyone putting in a new counter after the stove is set in place can allow for this minor issue.

These work as described and give an updated and clean look to my stove. I had debated what finish to get; I have a lot of stainless steel in my kitchen. But another reviewer talked about the gap cover seamlessly looking like just part of the stove. So I got black and I’m very happy that I did. They were a snap to put in and look sturdy and well made. Packaging was great including good quality rubber strips that kept them from scratching against each other. I’ve already reused the rubber strips as chair levelers on my patio - Bonus!

These stove gap covers are exactly what I needed. They effectively cover the uneven gap between my stove and countertops, and they blend in beautifully with my stainless steel LG range. The material feels premium, and the finish adds a clean, seamless look to my kitchen. Super happy with how well they fit and look! Pricier than the rest out there but feels premium.

1. These are pretty expensive, but not as expensive as some of the gap-fillers out there that are supposedly manufactured for specific brands. They are nothing more than slats of stainless steel with tabs that are tensioned into "springs" which allow for the covers to hold their place. (- 1/2 star)2. They are a pretty good fit for the stove/counter-top. Not a perfect fit so there is a small gap on a standard counter-top. You decided where that gap is, and it's more of an OCD issue than an actual problem with keeping food/grease/liquids from running down the side of the range. (- 1/2 star)3. Arrived MUCH sooner than advertised which I appreciated. We actually had them waiting for the range when it arrived.4. Extremely easy installation. Slide a butter knife alongside the range/counter-top on both sides and that's really the only measuring you need to do. They slide right in and hold very well. They are snug enough not to go anywhere if left to themselves, but they can also be nudged forward or back to cover what needs to be covered. My space is 30 1/8", range is 29 3/4" wide.5. Easy to clean on the fly, or you can pull them, wash them, dry them and replace them. Really convenient. Compared to the others which require affixing the gap fillers to the counter-top, this is by far the better option in my opinion. We have not had the range long enough to make a determination on longevity or warping problems, but I can guarantee that there won't be any problems with melted silicone/adhesive etc.... And if we get to the day we replace the counter-tops, again, this makes it much easier.6. Look fantastic.7. Recommend? Yes.
