Perfect
Light as a feather, exactly what I wanted. They are not very well insulated so you will need to invest in thermal socks if required. But I am very pleased with these boots.

Super light!
• Really like the weight of that boot (super light).• Easy to polish (military)Hint: tie some knots at the end of the laces to prevent them from slipping away from the eyelets thingy.

Best boot I’ve had!
Boots fit great, only took a couple of shifts to break them in. If your looking for a lightweight and very breathable boot. This is the one.

Indoor or hot weather specialist
I've been wearing this boot for a couple weeks, so here are my initial impressions following a break in period.-This boot is made for folks working either in a hot climate or indoors. It's minimalist to the extreme relative to any work/duty boot I've used (more on that later) and has absolutely no insulation. If you live in a cooler climate and work outdoors, this would be a 2-3 season hot/warm weather option. I would consider it for what I consider cool days (upper 30s-50 Fahrenheit) but only with very good socks. And even then I wouldn't use these for an all day post.-Build quality seems to be excellent. As others have noted there is no support for the ankle, but this does help save a lot of weight. The nylon material on the ankle and topsole also breathes pretty well for a boot. The speed lacing system is excellent, just keep in mind that the lack of support previously noted also means that you'll need to fiddle with how tight these need to be laced in order to remain stable while not being too tight. If I have one big complaint about the boot, that would be it. Long term durability is unknown, but the boot appears to be built to the level of craftsmanship I expected when I ordered a boot that said "Danner" on the side. One nice design touch I wanted to point out is the soft mesh they used to line the top of the ankle. This helps to keep the nylon from digging in and also keep everything in place.-My biggest pleasant surprise has been the sole. I find it to be firm enough to hold up to a lot of steps, but with enough cushion to keep my feet comfortable throughout the day. The insoles are very Spartan, so if you typically need inserts or other support you will most certainly need them with these boots as well. The tread pattern has plenty of grip for "normal" applications. If your work takes you off of normal indoor or paved outdoor surfaces, you'll probably want something with more ankle support anyway.Overall, excellent boot that I would recommend to someone with a need for a very lightweight boot that can still take a polish. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the narrowness of their application and because of how finicky it can be to adjust tightness.

It’s from Danner
Not as good on the quality side as I’ve expected from Danner in the past. Boots have been on the ground for a month now. Toe of the boot will not shine up too my expectations, not because of a lack of effort on my part. Synthetic material!
