Brilliant book, a friend of mine features in it so got him to sign it. My daughter loves it.

I bought this book partly to support our service men and women as some of the monies went to them, partly to remind everyone who looks at it how fortunate they are and partly to look at when life gets me down and realise whatever problems I'm facing ain't nowhere near what they have faced! Their courage at overcoming what they've been thro truly humbles me.

Bought this for a present for someone who has done charity work for help for heroes. It is full of touching stories and some graphic pictures just to warn you. Really nice cover with space to write a note in the cover.Anyone you know into old war stories of heroic people making it out of impossible situations and risking their lives, this is the one for you.

The most inspirational stories from our heroes thankyou to all our wonderful armed services and to Bryan Adams for the brilliant photographs, the book made me go through so many emotions. A book you will have to return to time and time again.

Heart wrenchingly honest, I felt I was face to face with the subjects of the book as I read their stories and absorbed the 'no holds barred' photographs. This book will go down as a true and enlightening record of the human cost of war.
