Jobe’s Organics All Purpose Fertilizer Spikes, Easy Plant Care Fertilizer for Vegetables, Flowers, Shrubs, Trees, and Plants, 50 Count

If my product hadn't arrived so broken up it would have been extremely convenient to use. But that's not the manufacturers fault.Using the whole spikes and the broken pieces in my container vegetables did what they were supposed to do. In a reasonable time they all began to green up very nice, put on new growth and produce an abundance of blooms.Particularly the bell pepper. Its in a self watering pot but the spikes me st definitely improved the appearance and productivity of the plant.I would buy them again. But am going to invest in self watering containers because I think that actually helps the efficiency of the spikes action.

My Roma tomato plant loves this fertilizer. Zoom in on the photo. My plant is growing so well. It’s healthy and has an abundance of tomato’s. I highly recommend.Look at my later updated picture. My tomato plant is exploding with Roma’s. This fertilizer works! Seeing is believing.

Easy to use great value

I planted a bunch of flower seeds and they all germianted but the potting soil must have been rubbish because all my flower starters were DYING and turning yellow due to lack of nutrients in the soil. I put these around the perimeter and inside of my flower bed and within just a week the color of the flowers stalks and leaves dramatically changed from pale yellow to dark green! Great product! I had spent about $18 on flower seeds and would have been bummed out to have lost my entire crop.......now it is about a month later and I can see formation of flower heads and in about 2 weeks I will have blooms!BTW - It is basically NPK - I broke the sticks in HALF and spread it around my flower bed. Sometimes too MUCH fertilizer can burn and kill plants especially starters who are still fragile and establishing their stems leaves Even cut in half, it still did a great jobHighly recommended!

This is my first time using these spikes, and first time using any product from Jobe's.I don't have a very big garden, just a few plants: tomato, bell pepper, green bean, sugar pea, yellow squash and carrots. One package of 50 spikes was the perfect size to use for the first time, which was good because the package says to use them soon after opening. They are neat little bullet shaped spikes and held their shape/didn't get mushy through the humidity before inserting them into the ground. They're really easy to use, all you have to do it pop them into the soil. I initially punched a hole in the ground for them with a tent spike but found that it wasn't necessary, and I could easily insert them on their own.I've only heard good things and good results with these and am hoping for good veggies. The price is great and definitely worth giving a shot.My only concern with them is related to my two dogs. I read that they are pet safe, and that was part of my decision in purchasing. The bag says to keep out of reach of children and pets. As a precaution and to keep the dogs from walking on my garden, I put up a short plastic, white picket fence that is enough to keep them out every year. The day after adding the spikes, I found that the dogs went into my garden and dug up the spikes. I didn't actually see them eating anything, I could only see the holes they dug, which were exactly where I put the spikes. I got the empty bag out of the trash to see of they had interest in it and they both came running over to me, licking their lips and staring at the empty bag. So I can basically only assume that the dogs find them to be delicious. Thankfully I haven't noticed any symptoms or problems and to be fair, these dogs aren't new to getting in trouble. I just feel it's important to mention it so others can take precautions with their furbabies.

I guess they fertilize well enough for small plants/small gardens. I have a Big yard with 8 raised beds for Vegetables, NUMEROUS Tropical fruit trees & ornamental plants. I attempt to grow Lots of different plant varieties, fruit, vegetables & trees here in South FL and i thought I’d give these Jobes all-purpose fertilizer spikes a try! They are small and you only get 50 small spikes in a small bag. Honestly I don’t think they’re all that much of a value for the money unless you have a small garden. They didn’t really seem to go all that far. Therefore, I don’t really feel comfortable in recommending them, nor do I believe that I will be repurchasing them again. Perhaps they would be ok for small apartment gardens especially if you don’t have a very big garden or a lot of demanding plants that regularly need fertilizing …. But for my uses it was just not a great purchase. Just didn’t go very far in helping to feed very many of my hungry plants!! I have also had problems with Availability of Jobes; not allowing the sale of their regular size Fertilizer Spikes for Fruit Trees to my vicinity!! What’s THAT about???!!
