Excellent book
I've been reading this book series with my 8-year old daughter. At first we only had book I, once we finished it, we couldn't wait for book II to arrive. This was a very exciting story. The only problem is that the series ends. If you are into a suspense story that is a little longer, this is a great

"Bobby Doesn't Like Babysitters..."
The second book in "The House on Cherry Street" trilogy starts immediately after the first one finishes. Jason's parents have just left him and his little sister Sally in the care of a babysitter while they attend to matters elsewhere. Unfortunately, where they've left them is the old house on Cherry Street, one which is haunted by no less than two ghosts, and which has already come very close to killing Jason and his sister. And the babysitter Katie is going to be no help at all. Like his parents, she believes that all the strange occurrences are the work of Jason himself, playing tricks just to get on her nerves. Jason is desperate to convince her otherwise, especially as Sally is exhibiting some very frightening behaviour. He believes she's being possessed by the spirit of a young boy called Bobby who died in the house a long time ago, and now considers Sally his playmate. We get a few more clues as to what exactly is happening between little Bobby and the other, more malevolent ghost that haunts the Cherry Street house, though another cliff-hanger ending means that the third and final book will have to be on hand to find out what happens. As with the first book in the trilogy, I found that the paranormal activity is (paradoxically) a bit too intense to be particularly scary. There is no subtlety or suspense in all the object-throwing, door-slamming, evil cackling that goes on, and it seems ludicrous that Jason would stay in the house, or maintain his insanity when faced with such obtuse guardians. The chapters are short and the pacing is quick, so if you're in the mood for a quick ghost story (albeit one that's divided into three) then this might scratch that itch.

Amazing!
This book has one of the best Haunted House plots I've ever read about. The story line and the characters all tie in to one another. The Cover was astounding! That was one of the best parts of the book. While the writing itself isn't ment for older children, it still fascinated me.I love these three books and wish the authors would write a more advanced version of them.I only have Book 1 and 3, but I hope oneday I can find the 2nd. I will treasure these books forever!

The book House On Cherry Street was about Jason his sister Sally and his baby-sitter Katie, It also had an evil which and a ghost named Bobby. It all started happining when Jasons parents went on a buisness trip and katie came to watch them and this ghost Bobby was trying to scare away katie cause it didn't like baby sitters but katie wouldn't beleive any thing that Jason said but things kept on happning and finally she saw it and believed it then the whitch was tyring to get them but sjhe didn't and they got bobby were he belonged.
