This kettle has a small footprint so it takes up less space on the counter top. At 3kW it boils fast. The action of the lid is very positive, it pops open and clicks closed securely, it pours well with nothing coming out of the lid (unlike my last kettle.) The satin finish is easy to clean and shows fingerprits less than would a shiny one. Is it noisy? quite. But it's made out of metal (stainless steel) and it's pumping in power at 3kW; quite noisy but fast. If noise is a major consideration then buy a plastic kettle running at 1.8kW (and it'll cost about half as much). For the 90 seconds or less it takes to boil water for two mugs of tea for me this just isn't a issue; stainless steel, a fast boil and practical atractive design are the things that I was looking for.

This kettle is ideal for making tea and coffee. The water level i is easy to see .It is a smart looking kettle and looks good in my kitchen.It is quite a noisy kettle as other reviewers have said but I purchased it anyway. It is quite a fast boiling kettle .

I chose this kettle because I have other Stellar items and find them of high quality. I like it because of the clear water indicator down the front and back ( so suitable for left handers). The lid opens easily with just a press of the button on top which makes filling it fuss free. Being metal, there is no taste from the water. The top is clear for no apparent useful reason. It is slightly noisier than my previous cheap kettle but not too loud. I think it looks very smart and compact on my worktop. Happy with purchase.

I had never considered this brand for a kettle before but I know their cookware is always good. I am not disappointed, its the best kettle ever. Really sturdy, easy to clean, looks great and boils quickly. The only drawback is its a little noisy so maybe no good for a bedsit but the noise really doesn't bother me.

Just had a kitchen renovation so decided to get all new pots & pans ETC.bought Stellar saucepans thought the quality was great so got this kettle and once again the kettle oozed Stellar quality it looks good ,it’s easy to fill with nice clear windows to see the water level and a blue light when it’s on what more do you want.Although I think I’m missing something don’t all kettles make a noise when in use so a bit confused with the neg. comments obviously if there was a completely silent kettle it would be made by Dyson and cost hundreds of pounds until this becomes available buy this one you won’t be disappointed.I like it I like it a lot !

Nice looking kettle but so noisy - due in part I think to the metal body. I can imagine after a few years use the "chrome" appearance of the plastic handle and button will wear off, but I hope it will last longer than two years as our previous Bosch kettles did - unless I get fed up with the noise!

Priced at the lower end for kettles this has most of the points I wanted in a kettle. Clear filling window not hidden under the handle. Press button pop up lid. Lime scale filter. Steady base. Easy to clean. Fast BUT noisy not quiet as advertised. Overall very pleased it looks expensive.

Slightly more expensive than I usually pay for an electric kettle, but it is worth the extra few pounds! A well made kettle; pours well; no noisier than other kettles I have had; easy to clean. Love the design and look. Highly recommended.

Produkt wurde mit einem Stecker für Großbritannien geliefert (dreipolig).Den kann man in keine deutsche Steckdose stecken!!!Hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich beim Kauf prüfen muss, ob der Wasserkocher auch in Deutschland einsetzbar ist.Andere britische Hersteller schaffen es ja auch, deutsche Stecker an Produkte dran zu machen, die nach Deutschland verkauft werden.Sehr ärgerlich.
