There is nothing that I dislike about this item it does click loud enough for my puppy's ears to perk up.Only I must admit I'm just not sure when to click is it to interrupt some bad puppy action or to use it as a means for praising puppy on obeying a command.I will shortly give my intelligent puppy the clicker so as to better train me.Yes my puppy has a trainer that comes to our home once a week to train me on how to work with him for the remainder of the week. Great. He is no 6 of the West Highland White Terrier breed, Westie for short. His name is Rusti Nails and yes he is a handful.

I've used clickers that are difficult to get to work. This clicker is well made, and easy to use. The clicker function is well-designed and it isn't hard to get it to make the training 'click" sound that my dog responds to so well.

I'm always losing my clickers. I decided to try these so that I could just keep them on my wrist or around my arm. I found that to be super annoying so I attached it to a lanyard and just wear it around my neck. Voila! Problem solved. My clicker is always on me and it doesn't get in the way.

I purchased these clickers to train my parrotlet but the click is so loud that it spooks her. I purchased a separate clicker that works for her. so if your intention is to use this to train a skiddish animal beware.

Clicker is a must for dog training. The click means they just did aomething they will be rewarded for. Use sparringly to avoid confusion or clicker fatigue.
