Broken Throne: A Red Queen Collection

Book is absolutely beautiful. Purchased it to complete the series for my daughter. I love books with designs on the end pages. Super high quality.

The rest of the series was better. To be honest this book just felt a little bit pointless but if you just can’t leave the world yet then go for it!

Great collection of short stories and novellas that help to tie up a number of loose ends from the main set of novels. Definitely recommend reading.

I cannot tell you how much I have loved reading the entire Red Queen series. I was slightly disappointed with the ending of Warm Storm and the questions/holes left unanswered but this book addressed those and gave MUCH MUCH more I hadn’t even thought of. It provided so much context and I actually sobbed at the end 😂 So beautifully done, I’d consider this book to be 1000% necessary if you’ve read the other red queen books.

Broken Throne consists of the novellas and some extra information about the Red Queen universe. I would recommend the book if you really want to see how things end for Evangeline, Mare, and Cal. It's also perfect for all readers who are obsessed with the series and just want more. However, although I enjoyed the series, I found it difficult to get through. Some parts were interesting and some were not. It's three stars for me!

It was arrived a day before it should be arrived in a great condition over all I loved the book♥️

Lorsque j’ai refermé War Storm en décembre de l’année dernière (il sort en France chez JCLattès en Novembre), j’ai eu comme un goût d’inachevé, une certaine frustration même si nous avons une fin propre. Je n’ai donc pas résisté à Broken Throne qui regroupe plusieurs nouvelles qui se passent avant, pendant et après la série. Et je ne regrette pas du tout. Grâce à ce volume, j’ai enfin eu les réponses à mes questions et une VRAIE fin, une comme je l’espérais. C’est donc avec plaisir que j’ai retrouvé Mare, Cal, Farley et Shade, et les autres. Heureuse et triste d’avoir pu connaître la mère de Cal et sa fin. Ashe et Lyrisa sont un bonus dans cette série et je les ai aimés sur le peu de pages qu’ils leur sont alloués. Que dire à part, que je suis ravie d’avoir pu lire la rencontre entre Diana et Shade, la relation fusionnelle entre Tiberias et Coriane (les parents de Cal), ainsi qu’un vrai épilogue où l’on découvre ce qu’il se déroule durant les mois qui passent après l’affrontement final. Il y a également des bonus comme une carte du monde, des entrées de documents écrits par différents personnages et commentés par Julian. Un arbre généalogique… Pour conclure, ce livre bonus est un coup de cœur. Il complète à merveille la série et je le trouve indispensable pour ceux qui veulent en savoir plus sur le monde de Red Queen. J’ai été agréablement surprise par son contenu. Bref, je vous le recommande chaleureusement.

This book is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Steel Scars, an account of Diana Farley's early life, and Queen Song, the story of Cal's parents, have been previously published as Cruel Crown, so i dithered over buying this one. i should have bought it a LONG time ago. it wraps up the events of War Storm and gives you backstory to the series, through the POV's of different characters. PLUS what happens to Cal and Mare. the Calore monarchs history was totally amazing and the Royal Silver tree was beautifully done. I recommend this book to ANYONE who has read the Red Queen series. if i could give this book more stars, i would!

5th book of the red queen series, tells the POV from Cal, great to know what he felt and saw all this time

the book arrived but the corners and some of the pages were damaged, I loved the first book and Im so excited to get to this book.
