Perfect for brushing my cockapoo. Brush is easy to hold and bristles are not too hard. My dog sits a bit longer to be brushed with this than some other brushes I have.

Absolutely love this brush. I've used it on my cockapoo with a short coat (not too curly) she loves being brushed with it and it's keeping her tangle free.

Does the trick

Was having difficulty keeping the dog from matting, the steel comb works but out dog hates the "wire" brush types. THis is a great compromisre, hard enough to tease out undercoat, but soft enough to not rip it out causing distress. Takes longer but we both end up happier. It won't take out stuck matting, but used as an everyday brush it really does improve the dogs coat.

Seems to be working to detangle my silky coated spaniel and as it is gentle I have been able to have a go at some small matts on his chest. It is also good in that you can use on damp hair.I have dropped it a few times as it is quite big but not a big issue.

The brush is not at all hard for dogs coats unlike the needle type ones. It's not to soft either just right like a good massage .He always grabs a toy as he stresses with anything but chilled now

We've just used this on our beloved pooch after he needed a bath and we were both suitably impressed. Usually, drying and brushing him is somewhat arduous - our dog looks into the mid-distance and goes to his 'happy place' while we try and de-tangle his curly hair. We never quite achieve the brilliance of our local groomer, but we don't do too bad a job. The only problem is that the metal toothed comb can sometimes cause awkward yelps from the canine and the lack of flexibility extends the time we spend doing it. Then my wife decided to take a punt on this and we are both very happy with the results. Firstly, the silicone teeth really does a great job de-tangling his curly hair, making light work of it. Secondly, it hardly seems to bother our dog at all and we can have him dried and combed in record time. Superb.

I bought this when my puppy was scared of the usual wire-combed brush. She immediately took to it and began to enjoy being brushed. After a short while I could introduce the other brush and now use a combination of both.
