Works for 6-20, but EU Plug is loose
Works with the uncommon 240 volt NEMA 6-20 plug, allowing you to power EU devices that need 240 volts in the US. However, the EU two prong plug is very loose in the universal socket. Any movement of the wire will cause it to fall out, only recommend as a temporary measure. I found a permanent solution: 30120-620PGB

Photos are misleading, only 1 item in package
Photos make you believe you will receive 2 of these, but you only receive one. However it works exactly as described and now I can use Euro plugs to run in the USA. My gfs hairdryer works in the US and she's oh so happy. Remember this is not a converter... just an adapter, so your voltage must be 220-250v to work Euro items.

So far so good
I'm using it to conneect an italian Gaggia coffee machine (220v) to the US 240v outlet I have in the kitchen. Connections are tight. It stays cool. Works great.

A hard adapter to find
I bought a 120/240 voltage plasma cutter and a 120/240 voltage welder that I wanted to run on 220v. My 220v plug is the Nema 6-20P but both came with a standard 3pin 120v plug and an adapter from the 120v 3pin to a 50amp 240v plug. With this plug I can use the adapter and plug into my 240v and the machines auto detect 240v.

Melted
It melted and stopped working after a dozen or so uses.

Worked
Worked to adapt 6-20P to standard plug, so I could automate an AC unit. Only plugged in once. Not sure if multiple times plugging in will be an issue.
