As long as your "half power" doesn't exceed that you'll be fine. I've tried it myself with no issues **Q: Are the XLR outputs line level or mic level?** A: They're mic level. They do not have a multi-output format that supports both XLR and 1/4". You’ll find you only need to hit about 50% master level - after that the sag gett too mushy. I have Marshall’s - twins- orange Captor X 8ohm been the best purchase I’ve made in years. Buy it - just don’t spin all your knobs to 10 and you will find some real sweet spots quick. I bought UA OX box, Suhr Reative load IR, and captor x. No contest - captor x is great in the studio and live. I sent the others back and bought a spare captor x.
