I bought a second van, so I picked up a second jump box to go with it. In as much, I find it odd that the product description tells you that you need a separate extension cord. That simply is NOT the case with the 700 amp unit. It does NOT have 110 male pins that plug into an extension cord. It comes with it's own A/C adapter that plugs into a round hole on the back of the unit. The 1000 amp unit has the 110 pins and requires an extension cord, but NOT this one. Someone took the product description for the 1000 amp unit, changed the numbers and rolled with it. The someone else put a "package" deal beneath it...actually selling the extension cord. Very strange. If you are buying the 700 amp unit, do NOT buy the extension cord. It does not attach to this unit and you do not need it. **Q: Does the inflator have auto cut-off pressure feature?** A: The J7C09D (1400 peak amp model ) does, but the FATMAX J7CS (700 peak amp) model does not. The "bigger" one has digital displays among other features. **Q: How long should I charge it for right after I take it out of the box brand new?** A: If yu buy this, yu WILL be disappointed. It will only work about 2x then it's dead forever. I bought this just to have for emergencies. Didnt use it until 6 months after purchase. The warranty requires yu to ship and pay costs. And its no telling what they are going to do. Also i bought mine for about half the price it is now. These Look nice but are poorly made, i used it 2x for the battery and the air. After that, it wont charge. I can get all the lights saying completely charged but soon as its off the charger, its dead like i never charged it at all. The commpressor doesnt work, the usb doesnt work. I still have a few short weeks on my warranty but i think imma find something better. Buyer Beware, this is JUNK. Im not lying, im not trying to defer yu, on my review i described this as a disposable unit, it is NOT built to last. Do not cheat yurself and let them steal yur money. Lets all click off this and start looking for something WORTH it. I bought this on March 11, 2018, so I definitely feel as of I got my money's worth out of it though. Update 12/30/2022: I still have this. It's not something I use often. In fact, during the pandemic, I went an entire year and a half without ever needing it, but still religiously charged it at least 1x a month even when not in use. For reference, it was purchased on March 11, 2018, and on Friday, December 30, 2022, I had to jump a individual's SUV, because his battery died while in my driveway. This did the job with no problem and is still recommended. I'm actually very impressed with the quality and how long-lasting this is. Got this and immediately charged it as instructed. Was a little worried due to reading reviews that some had received this DOA or that the jumper never fully charges. I did not have that problem and I've since used it twice to jumpstart my car battery this winter. Very convenient and safe to have on hand in those emergency situations (for reference, I jumped a little Kia Rio sedan without problem). The portable jumper was charged immediately after each use and will be every 30 days per the instructions, so I hope this lasts. Am thinking about purchasing another one as the price was WAY cheaper than in a certain auto store with "zone" in its name... I'm giving it 5 stars since it has, now twice, jumped one of my cars and I have experienced no issue with the device failing to fully charge. The air compressor, light and ability to charge your USB devices are a plus as well, but I did not purchase it for those features.
