Went fishing with the hook and loved it! This hook works perfect with corn. I caught several fish.. I’m hooked

The spring loading worked without issues. i loaded mine with sweet peas to catch opaleyes at the jetty but could not get one fish to set the hook. They were biting the baits but with the plastic cover slightly above the hook it was hard for the fish to get its mouth set over the hooks.Just ended up feeding the fish for over two hours with this hook.My second pole had regular hook on it with same sweet pea as bait and didn't have issue catching it.If you catching large mouth bass or carps at the lake or fish with big mouth you should able to set the hook on them. But for what i was fishing, it didn't work.

I can plainly see the Baitanator with corn or doughbaits, perhaps even with small morsels of Berkeley Powerbaits, but forget about juicy nightcrawlers; grubs, maggots, or small crickets might fit. Thus, its appeal is rather limited unless you stalk catfish, barbel, suckers, or carp.

This is a novel idea and American made. You can use it for old fashioned pond/small lake fishing using dough-type bait, corn, worms, or cut-up hotdogs. You can keep your bait on longer.

After seeing this on our local news I had to support this guy. I haven't got. A chance to try these out yet but no doubt I'll catch my limit.
