I'm editing the review because they have been in touch with me and help solve the situation .This bed is a pain in the ass to put together. A 45 minute job turned to 4 hours because the slat connectors did not fit in the slots easily. (You will need a hammer, a lot of man power, and endless patience) ON top of that, it came missing an essential screw that connected the handle bar to the rest of the bed board. (The packages came with an extra of one screw and then short one screw) It was also missing a slat connecter. I called Amazon who wanted me to return the frame, but after hours of assembly and fitting these slat connector with much difficulty, I'd have to damage the bed to pull it apart, so instead I accepted a partial refund of $25 (thank you Amazon for picking up the slack with this third party company) AFTER all this trouble, I drove to four stores to find a headless 50mm long M6 screw with a makeshift bolt in the middle to use in order to connect the handle bar of the bed board to the right side.With all that being said, the frame looks great. It's sturdy and not creaky and perfect for a child.

I feel bad leaving a bad review with such low rating but I bought two of these for my daughters and both are doing the same thing so it's a product error and not user error. The middle leg on both is completely worthless and and even my little daughter, who is only 30 pounds, bed is sinking in the middle because of it. Sadly returning is not an option now and even if it was it was too much to return it. It's super cute but plan on building your own base for it cause the legs do nothing for support. And it was within a day or two that we started noticing a problem but it's only been a month now and it's completely broken.

I ordered two bed frames for my children. One was this style and then another style. I was not expecting this to come in so many parts. It was difficult to assemble and the pieces did not go together well. I wound up ordering another frame like the first one.

My daughter loves it. No box spring required however the mattress will slide so we had to put grip straps on the bars..
