Tru Fru Dark Chocolate Covered Hyper Dried Raspberries (16 Ounce)

It has a good flavor. Little expensive with the shipping. Just for trying, it’s ok.

The inside has the texture of a malted milk ball. Didn't arrive melted and arrived on time. Will order again!

Wasted money… it arrived in a big blob of melted chocolate! So disappointed.

I have purchased Tru Fru's Hyperdried raspberries for several years now and have highly recommended them to anyone who loves dark chocolate however, in the past year there has been a significant decrease in quality and enjoyment. Specifically, I used to open the packages and have ALL whole raspberries that would rehydrate while eating them giving you the full experience of eating a fresh raspberry dipped in dark chocolate...an experience unparalleled with any other snack and well worth what I was paying for them. Now, there are numerous "bits and pieces" of chocolate with some tiny pieces of raspberry which have been added to the mix, accounting for a significant portion of the net weight. Additionally, they no longer "rehydrate" while eating as before...they seem to be over dried so all you get is a mouth full of chocolate and raspberry seeds. Not particularly enjoyable. I have notified Tru Fru directly and they seemed concerned regarding my feedback, asking me to provide lot numbers, which I did. These issues seem to exist across all the lot numbers I've purchased (obviously I've purchased A LOT, looking for my former perfect product). I chose to order this item through Amazon thinking they may be better than purchasing at a local store however the "bits" are still part of the package, taking up 2 ounces of the 16 ounces of weight (see photo). These do seem be be better with regard to the pulp not being so dried out but these have obviously not been stored in ideal conditions since they have the tell tale white dots of improper temperature control (see close up picture). I'll wait a while to try again, hoping someone at Tru Fru will investigate their quality control and make adjustments since the current product does not merit the price tag.
