Frost's poetry in 1 book is divine.
Robert Frost was the Poet Laureate for the US because his verses are extraordinary. I, once, had this very book but I lost along the way. I was delighted to buy a 1st Edition book, with dust jacket intact, from Amazon. It is an Anthology of all eleven of Frost's books which was a rich find for me. Robert Frost has been my favorite American poet since childhood.

New England poet.
I learned to love the poetry of Frost. The exploration of nature and man's role in that existence. I was also surprised by the many sad events in his life. The loss of a son to suicide, aa daughter who died in childbirth and his wife to breast cancer. His poetry is not flowery but projects beautiful images and man's interaction with nature and with each other. One thing I noticed is that while his poetry is not essentially sad, a lot of it written in a winter setting. I'm glad I read this. His words are beautifully written.

Favorite book of my Mother's
My mom always love reading the poems from Robert Frost. But my mom just recently pass away and I wanted a copy of this book for myself. She had a total of seven children and her book could not have been split up so the other six siblings purchase their own. I did't think I could find the book so I put my trust in Amazon.com to find it and they did. I love the ease of shopping on-line and that is the way I usually do my shopping. Great for Birthday, Christmas, and ect. I do most of my Christmas shopping for my grandchildren with Amazon.com I am disabled and it is hard going out shopping so this is a great way to do my shopping. Thanks Amazon.com

Perfect Collection of Robert Frost Poetry
Saw this book for years on my bandmate's shelf in our rehearsal spot. Finally grabbed it one day to put down some placeholder lyrics for a song we were working on and just fell in love with the words, with the prose, with the imagry and tone. I decided I needed it just to read, and at times, to inspire my own lyric writing.

A WALK IN TIME WITH THE MASTER
I heard Robert Frost at my high school in 1955. It was about 8 years before his death and yet he was as full of life that day as anyone I have ever seen or heard. He didn't embellish his works. I think he read them as he felt when he first wrote that particular poem. He had a specific cadence for each reading and I felt as if I was right there standing in the woods on a snowy evening or in front of two roads that diverged into a yellow wood. My memory of these events and his readings in his book of poetry are organic. I feel as if I am alive in that specific time in American history that he was writing about. He helped me feel the way folks felt long ago. I could better understand the meaning of his poetry by living in the time he wrote them. This book contains in excess of 150 poems. There is plenty of material to assist you in finding your favorite. Whether its a poem about Christmas trees or the death of the hired hand, the topics he writes about are most sanguine and even contemporary in today's time.So snuggle up in your reading chair and face the roar of a winter's fire. Sip on a cup of your favorite tea and let Robert Frost transport your soul into time long past but whose meaning is just as alive today as the noise falling snow makes or the sound of the wind through the evergreens. You owe it to yourself to read from the works of a master..If you expect a review from me based on the works of Robert Frost, in one word let me say "superb." How often are you given this opportunity? Which road will you choose?. It will make a difference.

Absorbing!
Frost was scathing regarding the recent('ish) trend to blank verse. Here he shows the real craft required in the traditional forms of rhyme & meter. The pieces progress in complexity as the man ages but retain a direct simplicity which connects with the reader without the impossibility of obtuse interpretation. His insight into the human condition and his reflections on the vagaries of life are often exceptionally perceptive and the book should be a valued addition to any collection.

My grandson asked for certain poems of Robert Frost for his degree course. I ordered this hoping that it would fulfil requirements. It does. Very pleased with this purchase.

Excellent book of Robert Frost's poetry
I kept reading and hearing quotes from Robert Frost's poetry, and just had to have a proper read for myself. This book is for anyone who love real poetry - the kind that makes you sit back with satisfaction, when you've discovered another favorite among his poems. I am so glad to have bought this, and would recommend it fully.

Excellent work, also my copy came with a break ...
Excellent work, also my copy came with a break up note from whomever owned it in its previous life. The bitter feelings of a jilted stranger only added to the existential, introverted questioning of this rhetorical, self-examining poetry.
