Prevents your toes poking through the top!
I am a big guy at 6’4” and 275 pounds. My shoe size is a 16 wide. If I purchase shoes that have the nylon mesh top, my big toe will poke a hole through the shoes after about a few weeks. My wife bought these as a preventative for me.The inserts were easy to apply and were comfortable when wearing my shoes. They appear stable and have not tried to dislodge. It’s been a couple months now, and they have offered stable, sturdy protection for my shoes. I do a lot of walking with my job, and they perform very well. I can’t even tell that they are in there. The package comes with two pairs of inserts. This is perfect as it will give protection for my future pair of shoes.

Affordable Solution
For some reason, I have had problems with poking holes in the big toe part of cloth shoes. It happened on two pairs of New Balance shoes, and a pair of Olukais. It's interesting because I keep well pedicured and I never have any holes in my socks. I had almost given up on sneakers when I discovered this product. I tried them on two pairs of shoes that have the start of a hole.I discovered that they stick very well, they are comfortable (I don't even know they're there), and they have solved the problem. I have had them in and wearing them for several weeks now and they are still doing great. They are still sticking and the holes are not getting any worse. I plan to put them in my next pair of cloth shoes to prevent getting any holes to begin with.

it wrinkles easily
A bit difficult to get it up into the top end of the shoe without sticking to something first or folding on itself, but if you manage it, it's VERY sticky so it stays in place. However, it gets wrinkly and if you're sensitive you might notice it on your toes. It works though. NO hole in my shoe yet! Been wearing them for many months. So it's extending the life of my shoes and that makes it good value.

Blow out patch!
These work really well. I was honestly surprised. I bought them to fix a few holes until I can get different shoes. Then, I blew the side of my shoe out at work.I used a whole patch inside my shoe, and I got through my 8 hour work day!My job requires me to be on my feet all day, and didn't have any issues. I couldn't even tell my shoe was ripped!

Held up 13 months and even a washing.
My feet just started to hurt and I was shocked to learn my Brooks were over a year old. My past 3 pairs had toe blow out before 6 months. These inserts completely stop my $150 sneakers from being trash when they were still good to wear. I did recently wash my sneakers and it kinda messed up the stickers but I few pats seemed to keep them from falling off. So, here I am again buying them.

Good product- not sticky enough
They were very sticky at first. Now I've resorted to super glue to keep them in. The work great and will make my shoes last longer.

Does the job.
Work well. Follow the instructions, but use a vacuum in your shoes to remove sock dust to keep it off the adhesive.

Can save you enough money to pay for itself
As someone that works in a warehouse that walks 20 miles a day. The safety shoes they make is wear for the most part can last quite a while. But there are times when small holes/rips will start forming on the sides of the shoes while the rest of it is fine. If you apply the patch from the inside, the sticky adhesive tends to hold up pretty good. At the minimum it can buy me another few months of extensive use of my work shoes. So after a few years of using this product and extending the usage of each pair of shoes by an extra 3-6 months. Definitely has saved me MORE than enough money to pay for itself. Well worth getting, especially for anyone that tends to abuse their shoes more than the average person.
