Made of vulcanized natural rubber. Knee-high fit insures that no moisture gets in. Comfort cushioned footbed. Reflective safety patches. Woven nylon lining. Calendered natural rubber outsole for sure footing. The brand advises that a white wax film may appear on the surface of the rubber boots and that it can be wiped off with a damp cloth. This "blooming" effect is not a defect. Blooming is caused when the boots are exposed to extreme temperatures or temperature swings and the wax helps prevent the rubber from weathering. My daughter is obsessed with them. True to size and they stretch out with frequent wear, so take that in mind if you're ordering for room to grow: I read other reviews and ordered a size up and they worked decently in length but they fell off her feet because the leg openeings were too big. We settled on her true to size and they were perfect. I kept the bigger pair for later because she loves them so. Sturdy and still look shiny and new; even after wearing them every day for months.

I love these boots for my 4 year old daughter
I love these boots for my 4 year old daughter. This is her second pair. Her first pair she's had for two years and they're still in good enough condition to pass down to her little sister. They slip on and off easily, which is important for children and they keep her dry on rainy/muddy days. They are her "go to" play boots. They're also adorable and stylish and every girl deserves a pair of Hunter boots!!

My son loves them- wears them everywhere
These boots are easy to put on and light weight compared to other rain boots we had tried on for my son. He loves them so much he wears them all the time regardless of the weather forecast. We’ve had these for about a month and so far we are happy and son loves them.

I did not receive exactly what is pictured
I like this boot, however, I did not receive what is pictured. The boots pictured are Original Kids’ Classics, but what I received are Original Kids’ First Classics. I’m a little disappointed, because I prefer the boots with a 1/2 inch heel as opposed to the ones with flat soles.

Soft and bendy, don’t rub the ankle or heel like some other boots
My daughter walks on her tippy toes and these are one of the few boots that don’t cause her to trip and don’t run her heel. They’re just wide enough, and very soft.

Not the right boots .
First of all, the boots are the older style. They are advertising the newer boots with the heel and they send you the low ones. I ordered a 10 but received a 9.

Hunter is a great quality boot
Hunter is a great quality boot. The sizing is a little tricky, but worth thinking it through. I bought a size 5 toddler for my 2 yr old daughter who is normally a size 6 toddler. The shoe is actually marked size 4 since it’s Euro, but fits her well with room to grow.
