I was afraid to purchase a mattress without physically seeing and touching.But I went for it and I'm so glad that I did!Suffered from bed back pain and waking up stiffness al around.After sleeping on this mattress and giving it a few days, I can honestly say it's the best mattress I ever had!!It's soft but firm at the right balance.No more pain, I literally don't want to get out of bed, which has never happened before.I'm a side sleeper, 5'2, petite, and a senior citizen.Just a heads up, it's heavy to carry in the house.

We feel like this Casper mattress offers the ideal combination of cushioning and support with both memory foam and spring coils. No aching joints in the morning. Nice that when sleeping with a partner, your partner can move around, turn over, whatever, without setting the entire mattress in motion. We installed it on a steel bed frame with no box springs and we're very happy with it. Just be advised that it is very heavy, so take that into consideration for delivery and installation on your bed. Delivery was made to our front porch, we used a hand truck to wheel it to the bedroom and then took two of us to hoist it up on the bed frame.

I searched long and hard before buying this mattress. I was leary of a mail order mattress but I did a ton of homework on this one. I scoured consumer reports before buying.I am a big guy, 6'7" tall and about 315 lbs. I have 4 ruptured disks in my neck and 5 badly degenerative disks in my back. My back kills me on most every mattress I try to sleep on. So I needed to hit a home run with this purchase.I could not be happier with this mattress! It is well worth the money, is extremely comfortable, has made a tremendous difference in my neck and back pain, and I sleep like a baby.I am a back and side sleeper and this works perfectly for me. It's the best mattress I've ever owned and I've tried a ton of them! This is an excellent value for the money. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

I'm a curvy mid-aged female and have been experiencing shoulder and hip pain. I'm a 100% side-sleeper and tend to flip-flop frequently during the night. My hips were beginning to bother me a lot more sleeping on a firmer innerspring mattress. I prefer a softer plush mattress and after researching quite a few of the new bed-in-a-box brands, the Casper Hybrid sounded like the right choice at a reasonable price point. I've had it for a little over a week now and the balance of softness and support feels just right, especially in the hip area. I'm waking up less frequently to turn over because of pain. My only concern about the mattress was a lingering, mildly mildewy smell that has finally faded after several days (or I am noseblind to it now). I had the mattress on the floor for a few days until my new foundation arrived, so I think getting it off the floor has helped it air out more. I did not purchase the Casper foundation, but instead got a less expensive "ZINUS 9 Inch Metal Smart Box Spring/Mattress Foundation" which works very well with my bed frame and the mattress. I found Amazon's ship time to be faster than any other retailer and even then it arrived a couple days earlier than expected. In the box, it is super heavy, and I was grateful the driver carried it over the threshold for me! It's best to unbox it where you plan to keep it, because it inflates quickly and is an unweildy beast to move.

I have been suffering from extreme back pain ever since I bought my last mattress from Ikea one year ago. I purposely bought an extra firm Ikea mattress (8/10) because I had a super soft foam mattress (2/10) prior to that one, which I believe is where my back pain started. To be honest, I wasn’t a believer of the special engineering of these kinds of mattresses and thought the major reason for my pain were due to past injuries, work and personal related stress.As time went on, the pain got worse. Digging deeper, I found the Casper original hybrid, a 1/2 foam and 1/2 coils mattress with firmer zone support and longer lasting materials compared to the original. I found the Casper hybrid at an even cheaper price on Amazon then Casper’s official website and shipping would only take 2 days, rather than 2 weeks.2 days later, the Casper hybrid arrives outside my door in a well packed, tall large box. It was heavy but I was able to manage it myself. I wiped it down before opening it on my bed frame. It expanded within seconds and I was very surprised that there was no smell at all. I gave the new mattress a wipe down and let it sit for a few hours before trying it. (I read that we should let a new mattress sit for 24-48 hours but this Casper hybrid was ready to go out of the box.)2 hours later, I woke up realizing that I passed out while trying out the new mattress. I remember laughing with pure happiness before passing out. I felt like I was sleeping on bouncy clouds while gently being placed on top of it. The support for my shoulder and lower back dissolved the pain I had for years almost immediately. I thought to myself, I should have got this sooner.After sleeping on the Casper hybrid for the last couple days, the pain I use to wake up with every morning has disappeared 95%. Along with doing my daily stretches and massages, I wake up every morning 100% a brand new man. Thank you for curing my back pain!-Firmness Level 5.5-5.7/10.-No smell and ready to use out of the box.-Bouncy cloud feeling while gently being placed on top of it.-Great zone support and pressure relief.-Best for light weight and average weight sleepers.-Im a front sleeper, but I sleep on my back and sides very comfortably.-Edge support is not the best but very good considering the construction.-Mobilization transfer is not the best but good.-100 day free trail and 10 year basic warranty.-No home setup and no service to take old mattress away due to Covid.-Amazon is cheaper and has faster shipping options.I hope my honest review could help some of you out there. Recovery is so important, and this kind of investment is worth every penny. I would also recommend to do your daily stretches, massages and nightly hot bath sessions to speed up your recovery, all the best!
