Our Tsogo total meal replacement vanilla smoothie is our most popular smoothie. The sweet vanilla taste is fantastic by itself. Blending in fruits like peaches, blueberries, mangoes, etc. makes it even better! This means there are thousands of flavor combinations at your fingertips. It’s plant-based, gluten free, soy free and dairy free. This smoothie is filled with every nutrient you’d expect in a serious, total food/meal-replacement drink. The concept behind total food replacement is simple. Our vanilla smoothies have a perfectly balanced blend of the good stuff (proteins, etc) without the bad stuff (sugars, sodium, etc.). When you drink a Tsogo smoothie, you can count on getting complete nutrition. All Tsogo food is packaged with long-term storage in mind. This is not it's primary purpose but Tsogo wanted to give it the capability of potentially filling your food storage needs. Why use thick, silver pouches? All of Tsogo’s smoothies are packaged in heavy mylar pouches that are air and light resistant. Each pouch contains on o2 absorber, removing the moisture and the atmospheric air from within. Without moisture and air, food can become shelf stable for decades. Tsogo pouches and buckets are resealable, which helps to extend shelf-life even after they are opened. Every Tsogo Bucket is filled with 140 servings of 400 calorie meals or 280 servings of 200 calorie meals. You have the freedom to decide how many calories per meal you would like by using the supplied 200 calorie scoop. Being that the scoop is designed to be exactly 200 calories, you will always know exactly how many calories and what percentage of your daily nutrition you are ingesting. If you want a 300 calorie meal, simply add one whole scoop and then half a scoop. Tsogo is serious about being a total/complete meal replacement smoothie. You'll love the taste, long shelf-life, versatility and convenience Tsogo Vanilla meal replacement smoothie has to offer.

Expecting something just passable. Instead, got something really quite good!
I bought this just for kicks. I first ran across Soylent and thought that was interesting. Then I saw this and was intrigued. So I purchased both.My brother and I both tried the Soylent. My brother said "well.... this is not as bad as I thought it would be. But it's also not very good." I tried it and agreed. Not horrible - maybe even something I could imagine myself growing to like. But it would definitely require some work. Then today, I was heading out the door and decided to buy some fast food - until I remembered I still had not tried the Tsogo. So I threw some in my blender bottle, filled it up to the recommended amount (16-20 ounces - I picked 18), shook it up, and took off. And then I drank it.WOW!I was expecting something just not so great - maybe passably better than Soylent. Instead, I got something actually quite tasty. I'm craving it even now.I HIGHLY recommend Tsogo. I will be considering how to implement it more in my daily life. I'm considering getting the huge tub and then distributing it out into little tupperware containers so I can super easily grab and go.Try a small pack - you won't be disappointed.

A little too sweet...but otherwise good al desko lunch fare
This made very satisfying instant meals in a shaker. Its texture and taste are somewhat reminiscent of Soylent, but much sweeter, even by comparison with other vanilla nutritional shakes. It worked especially well with flavoring extracts, eg, coffee and/or hazelnut. I liked being able to dilute it with just water and therefore never be without a full meal available at my desk. A 200-kcal serving (one scoop) lasted several hours. I'd prefer it if the makers would intensify the vanilla flavor and reduce the sweetening slightly, but this is a minor quibble.

Best meal replacement I've had!
I finished this bag a couple days again. I have to say this tastes similar to slim fast, but doesn't have the artificial aftertaste slim fast does. I used this as a replacement for breakfast. I'm always running late and this is an easy alternative to simply not eating. The best thing about this is it kept me from being hungry forever! I loved that I could have 1 scoop. And not be hungry until much much later in the day. Slim fast and other products do not fill my hunger. So I end up stomach growling an hour after drinking. Also note. I only tried this mixed with water(due to always being late). I bet it's even more delicious with a little effort (ice to make smoothie style. Or berries. Etc). But as a stand alone still awesome to me!

Using as food replacement for 2 months. Love it.
I've been using this as a full food replacement for going on 2 months, very rarely having any snacks or food outside of tsogo. I actually feel great, I'm rarely hungry, and since I'm not taking in more than 2000 calories and I still work out a lot I have been loosing weight. The weight loss is nice, but not having to wash dishes or join the zombies strolling the grocery with phones in their faces is the best part. I genuinely enjoy the vanilla tsogo with a tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder and half a scoop of MCT powder. I haven't gotten bored with it yet and don't think I will. No digestive issues, not much problems adjusting to an all liquid diet.

Chocolate is the way
Try this product without anything added for a week or so and it was okay. Little Chucky and a little light on any sort of mouthfeel. Started adding flax and chia to it roughly halfway through the first batch. Found also that hemp seed was a good idea to mix in along with some coco powder. It's kind of been built up to a entire meal replacement for lunch and without feeling empty halfway through the afternoon. Adding a small amount of vanilla extract helps sweeten it without actually adding any more sugar. Started adding whey protein to it and it made it even better. This will be a repeat by for me every 3 or so months.

Holy moly is this sweet!
I had read some reviews that this was really sweet. I was not deterred by this as I generally like sweet things. Oh man this about knocked me for a loop! I did the two scoop they suggested and ACK! Next I did the one scoop and ACK! For me it is still a little too potent so I add a bit more water and it mellows it right down to a paletable level. I am also interested in their dehydrated fruit powder you can add to the shakes. Will definately buy this again as I now figured out a water to powder ratio I can stand. The big thing that makes me buy it again: no soy. I am always in a mad dash in the morning: No time to cook. This really helps me get a good breakfast rather than gas station candy bar. It also keeps me full till lunch.Be warned though. The bag does not really close well. I have now put the bag inside a gallon Ziploc. The first time I used the Tsogo just "zipped" it shut and put in my purse. Came home to empty Tsogo bag and full purse. I have found that the powder is really fine and gets in creases to close bag all the way.So giving this product 4 out of 5 for being wildly sweet and bag not closing well.

I have enough energy!
This morning is my first meal with this product. I used two scoops in a Blender bottle with 16 ounces water and a strawberry flavored meal replacement shake of a different brand. The powder blended pretty well, but best after I added ice. I'll have to experiment with flavoring. There is a chalky taste, but I'm not deterred by it. I like this product for the nutrients it provides as a complete nutritious meal. I feel better after one drink than I have in months. I look forward to future endeavors I will pursue now that I have enough energy. This product I will use again and again.

Nope, Not For Me.
It doesn't mix well. Constantly had chalky remains, even when I hand stirred it myself and constantly switched ratio of water to powder. I never used the powder amount rec because of how much was left in my water when I used around half. The taste is standard of a vanilla protein shake is fine. I wanted to try this for wisdom teeth recovery when you can only drink/eat soft foods, but no go. Maybe you need a blender and/or milk?
