The quality of this is wonderful! I originally purchased this item to complete a Phantom of the Opera costume for Halloween 2023, hoping for the best. It far exceeded my expectations! This could easily be worn by a groom at his period wedding or very formal gathering. Very pleased. I would suggest getting the largest size, as it can be adjusted to fit smaller heads.

The hat has a nice finish and looks good. I like it being adjustable.

I ordered this hat looking for something well made to wear for my magician/clown/circus act or for when I feel like dressing up in a fancy costume. This certainly did not disappoint. I was surprised by the high quality workmanship and materials despite its relatively low price. It is handmade and just picking it up and putting it on you can immediately tell that it is well made. I had previously ordered a different style on amazon paying a similar price and was very disappointed to see the quality of that one that arrived. It was flimsy and didn't feel like a real hat but just a costume. This top hat however is top of the line and I will make sure that any more hats I wish to buy online will come from Gemvie. A very solid, nicely made hat. Granted, it's not a high quality, expensive, fits your head perfectly hat. It is a well made, great quality hat that fits well out of the box. A few little shaping tricks, and a tiny bit of steam, and it fits perfectly. And how does it look? I think the attached pictures answer that question very well. Very satisfied customer, would recommend.

I purchased this hat as a gift for a family friend (male) who is attending a Bridgerton-themed event, and it exceeded expectations! Beautifully hand-made, interior white silk and fits perfectly (ordered 7 5/8) as this was his fear as standard size men’s hats don’t usually fit him. Arrived nicely wrapped and sure to be worn for other events!

This top hat was an impulse buy and I am glad I went with this specific product. It is sturdy and heavy and traveled well in the box. I highly recommend this hat if you are looking to add a top hat to your wardrobe or if you'll be using it as a costume piece. It would be a very durable item for a costume department. I have worn it during online meetings and it does not hinder typing or working.

While the hat appears to be good quality, the hat is too small for the head of the person it was supposed to fit. This is despite measuring the circumference of the head prior to ordering the hat to ensure it would fit, as per the specs in the description. When I reached out at least two (2)/possibly three (3) times to the company to inquire about a refund, these requests were ghosted.This particular experience has proven to be is very disappointing.
