Die Cast Alloy : The Bitzenburger fletching jig is made of long lasting die cast alloy. There are no plastic parts and it is built to last. Some say it is “the last jig you will ever buy.” Adjustable Dials: Large dials at the top and bottom of the magnet holder make it easy to adjust the angle of your fletching within seconds. You have the option of a straight, offset or true right or left helical. Clamp: The clamp is held at a 45 degrees angle so you will have a clear view of the fletching at all times. ClampSelf-Centering Shaft: This is an very important feature as it will accept and center any size shaft available today. This allows you to create an array of arrows for any type of shooting. Permanent Magnet: The strong permanent magnet allows for a very precise and uniform placement of all feathers and vanes. All of the many patented functional features work in unison with this magnet. The magnet is the most expensive and important part of this tool. Great care should be taken to protect it. A metal keeper or the clamp should be kept across the face of the magnet at all times. Feather Spacing: WIth just a slight screw adjustment you can vary the degrees of your feather spacing. This thing is awesome
As soon as my new bitzenburger arrived I was mounting vanes. I watched several u tube videos before it arrived for set up and gluing instructions. Very easy to use and adjust for setting spin on my arrows. Well worth the money.

Bought 2 different jigs! Sent those back
Purchased the bitzenburger and once initial setup was comete did 3 arrows and you get what you pay for! The 2 cheaper jigs i bought were inconsistent, this jig has all fletching from the 3 arrows consistent. Should have just bought this to begin with.

Buy this one. Don't "go cheap".
I went cheap the first time around with a plastic version of this. It wasn't very accurate. This is the one I should have purchased in the first place.

I eventually found the nerve to purchase this jig and man am I glad I did
I have been fletching arrows for about 3 years now and have always used a cheaper plastic jig to get the job done. I eventually found the nerve to purchase this jig and man am I glad I did. This thing really makes fletching a breeze and with the clamp you can almost instantly place the fletching and move onto the next. WORTH THE MONEY!

Best Jig Period
What else to say, this jig is it. Don't waste your money with cheaper ones. Perfect fletches every time. I use a 3 degree helical on 5mm FMJ arrows and it hits the mark everytime, period. No need for 3 vanes at a time speed, enjoy the process and let it do it perfect everytime and watch your groups shrink. It will save you money in the long run from paying the shop to fletch them, this jig will last a lifetime.

Outdated and won’t work well with modern arrows
Bit zen Berger makes a good jig but needs to catch up with the times. Almost nobody shoots 4and 5 inch vanes anymore and the helical holder just doesn’t work on small diameter shafts and short Blazer type vanes. They need to offer a product for today’s archery market.
