I love this. I keep one on my Amazon recipe book and one on my scratch pad. I like that it is right there secure whenever you need to write.

These were just what I was looking for.

The 3-star rating is because while it works, it will not fit many of the pens people are likely to be using these days.If you are using a simple "stick" pen, like a Bic, these will work fine. If not, the opening will probably be too small, and while you may be able to get the pen in there, it will require two hands, plus the clip will raise off the surface. See the photos for examples for pencil (way too small), a Bic pen (perfect fit), and a Pilot click pen (too large, ruler to show .5 cm rise off surface).

I sell luxury items online and I like to include a gift, which is a daily planner and a pen" for my buyers as a "thank you". I saw these and loved the idea of them so I chose to get them. These are super cute, not a bad quality at all and comes in multiple colors. These slide on easily and doesn't cause any tears or scratches to the planners. I placed a pen in each of the planners and it looks amazing!!!! But, please be aware you can't put fat pens or markers in them unless you bend them which I wouldn't do.I love this product and it's just perfect for my needs.

I thought that this was a cool concept. The clip itself is quite sturdy. The 3 colors are great. It is simple enough, you put the larger end under notebook and have the pen holder part of the clip on the top side. Then all you do is slide the pen inside the clip. There's a little bit of flexibility that you can stretch the clip slightly.However, when I tried just sliding into the opening most of the pens that were close at hand, not many fit. Anything that has a diameter larger than a AAA battery won't fit. Even the AAA battery stretched the clip out. Also, on the other side of the spectrum, #2 pencils are too small. I suppose that if you put the clip horizontal and have something on the end that is larger than the opening, then that may work.One more thought, if you put the pen at the bottom of the clip and slide it up into the groove, that'll accommodate some of the larger pens. If you bend it too much, you can easily bend it back into its original shape.I also noticed that you can clip pens (plural) to this clip on the outer side. I loved this idea. I always have little pads books etc where my pen is lose or I’m having to hook the cap onto the book. This was a great idea and pretty colors. Most pens fit. It’s a paper clip with a placement for the pen to lay and or attach. Some lay on top and some can actually click inside the opening. I love it and makes it easier to always have the pen available. Many included.

I've been seeing these advertised around lately, and finally decided to give them a try. I carry a notebook with me everywhere at work, I call it my memory bank, so of course that means I need a pen too. There's not always a place to put them, so I thought these would be a great way to stop putting my pen down and losing track of it, lol. And though they do work, they get a little bent out of shape if you have anything larger than a bic stick pen, or mechanical pencil style writing tool. The thick wire is sturdy enough to bend back into place, but once you pull your pen off, the paperclip sides out of place because there's no grip anymore.They were popular though. Since I got a 12 pack I was more than happy to share them around when everyone saw them, but they too had mixed reviews.Overall, great concept, just wish there was a little more spring back in the shape.
