Great intitial impression
This is an initial review as I've had the watch for only about a week now. I have tried a couple of Luminox watches in the past with mixed results. I had a good experience with the original Navy Seal watch a number of years ago when it first came out. It was a good watch and was very durable, however the battery died in less than a year and to get it replaced seemed like too big a pain in the butt, so I went for a G shock. Which are all very good and tough watches. However the one issue I have with G shock is that I can't read the tiny numbers and to be honest I have no use for all the bells and whistles that those watches come with nowadays. Not to long ago I tried the Luminox 3051 Navy Seal watch, right out of the box that watch looked like a cheap POS and wrote a review saying so. It looked like a $5 watch made of plastic. I sent it back without even trying it, as once you break it, that's it. You're not going to get your money back, been there, been screwed over before on watches that break. However I was still in the market for a simple and durable watch. I am very tough on watches as I use them for Military PT, outdoor work and sports. So after reading the reviews and doing some research I settled on this watch. I was impressed right away by its obvious quality. It is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. The ban is the right width (23 mm) and it doesn't stick to your skin as other rubber watch bands sometimes do. I have worn this watch swimming in the ocean and for PT several times in the first week. In fact I haven't took it off maybe once or twice since I got it. It is bright to read in the dark, maybe not as bright as other Luminox watches I've had, but bright enough. My gut feeling is that this watch is gtg. I will do a follow-up review after a few months of use, or if I have a problem, but for now I would recommend this watch.

Broke after one month
This watch lasted about one month before the inside dial started to loosen. Then, about 6 weeks of wearing the watch, the small hand became loose and fell off inside the dial. I have tried emailing and calling because this was not a cheap watch! And it was worn to an office job, nothing was hit or damaged and it has basically fallen apart. It’s been less then 3 months since I purchased it. I was giving the company the benefit of the doubt to make this right before writing this review. Since I have not been contacted or able to get ahold of anyone, I can 110% say that I do not recommend this watch. See pictures for damage.

Great Luminox for less than 1/2 price
Just received my Luminox 8822.Mi watch and love it especially for $202.00 compared to $450.00 on Luminox website. I like size and comfort of band which is super soft. Took it in closet totest and worked like a charm. I'll check to make sure it's water proof a little later. I've been hesitant to pull the trigger on buying because I thought I had some time to think about it since they had 7 watches in stock but decided to buy when it showed 2 left. They sold 5 watches in less than 2 weeks. I'm kind of OCD but only on purchasing things so I read reviews up the kazoo on this watch with concerns of people complaining of losing time so I'll check for any potential problems before the 30 day return. I did buy the first Luminox and wore it for 5 years everyday without a problem. It finally broke but 5 years of use for $170 was a good deal. I've also read that the second hand doesn't always square itself on hash marks but can be normal on a Quartz watch but mine lined up perfectly. I love the watch and if you can get it for around $200 bounce on it. These are grey market watches which means it's a Luminox watch just not sold by an authorized dealer so Luminox won't fix under warranty. I bought it on Amazon because it was best price and Amazon has always helped whenever I've had a problem so I decided to buy for less than half plus didn't pay tax which is great deal. I'll update if I have any problems.UPDATE:Tested watch underwater, no problems leaving it submerged for 30 minutes. I really like watch which keeps perfect time. The only time I take it off is when taking a shower. Easy to read at night.

Incredible swiss made watch that is as beautiful as it is rugged, backlighting is excellent
Having worked at a fine watch store while in school, I grew to appreciate the art of a fine watch.I bought this as a birthday present for my BF, he has gotten many compliments on it. It is rugged and looks like a watch you wouldn't be worried to toss around or have on while playing sports, doing housework or working in a wood shop (as he does). And yet its quite an elegant watch and can be used to dress up an outfit for a night out.Very pleased with this purchase, price was incredible (previous model to the current have very little feature change and I actually loved this design and the band a bit more, might be the first time I felt totally comfortable purchasing an older edition).

Luminox LM8822 Watch Review
I received my watch today as a Christmas present in, which I picked out myself after I performed some research on Luminox watches. With that bring said, I chose this particular model due to its overall appearance, and more importantly, the watch's overall cool factor, sapphire crystal, and features. Even though everything was a-okay with my new watch, the one thing that did seem to notice was the watch's not so super bright tritium, since the overall light doesn't really stand out unless you are in compete darkness. However, I still like the watch, and its quality, as well as its overall craftsmanship is on par with any other quality time piece mainly in part, because its one of the few watch companies that offers tritium luminecents.

Looks fantastic
The media could not be loaded. I’ve wanted this watch for as a while, When it arrived it was everything I expected it to be and look like. My other half brought it for me for my birthday (The Big 50) very happy. I would definitely recommend if your looking for a stylish watch as this one is. Good Quality, fits great. Brought at a good price. Would definitely recommend and buy again. Thanks Luminox.

Another great Luminox
This is my second Luminox watch, and , for the most part , is everything I'd hoped for.Like all Luminox watches, it is lightweight, ruggedly built,, and looks great. I really like the wide rubber watch band that comes with it--gives it a nice balanced look. This watch, like all Luminox watches, glows insanely bright in a dark room-- easy for me to tell the time even without glasses on. One little nitpick--the advertiser claims the case diameter is 50mm--it is not. The case diameter is actually 45mm--still a big watch even for someone like myself who has a big wrist. All in all, highly recommended --Luminox makes excellent watches.
