Very high quality coloring book. Nice thick pages, including a blotter page to tear out and put between the coloring pages for alcohol based markers to prevent bleed-through. The tops of the pages are perforated in case you want to remove a page and use it or do something else with it, and the artwork is great. Out of the various adult coloring books I've purchased, this is one of the better quality one's to date! I'll be excited to see what other styles they have when I finish this one!

The paper is simply supurb- it is thick like card stock, with NO bleeding through, even if I layer markers. Only drawback per the paper- the paper will pill a little if I get it too wet, so I'm just uber careful to let it dry longer, than the books the paper that just soaks up the ink.Another plus- I can go over an area, and overlap, but it comes out smooth. No telling where you change direction.Another plus- the spiral binding and hard cover front and back mean coloring away from a hard surface like a table, desk or lapdesk.I also has a slight gloss, which I LOVE, making my Tombow double ended markers glide like a dream. These markers (also the best, IMHO) are also blendable, and with this paper, it makes it easy to adjust the colors, without blending beforehand on the pallette included with the markers.Every mandala I color in this one just flows. It has quickly become my go to book, as my other dozen books from other companies - though most have pretty decent paper - seem subpar. I plan to buy the other two made by 'Color It', and hope by the time I finish, they will have a 4th book out.I found the best and won't waste money on anymore less expensive ones. You get what you pay for!Update: the other two books were not as fabulous as this one. I do not recommend them.

Try this coloring book! Yes, adults can enjoy coloring, too. I first brushed off the idea of coloring to keep mind off chronic pain until a friend gave me one. After looking at it for a couple months because I thought it was silly, I finally tried it & found myself an hour later still coloring. This book has a variety of designs for all abilities of artistry. Beginners to pros will find this enjoyable. Also great for keeping busy while waiting for appointments. This coloring book is well made & the spiral binding at the top is best in making coloring the whole page easier. The binding at the top allows the page to be flat when opened. Paper is heavy & perforated for easy tear out for framing. Color pencils work well. Markers or watercolors have bled through so keep in mind when choosing your coloring medium & use a scrap page behind to protect the next page from the bleed through colors. I do enjoy the watercolors & use a plastic protection sheet. Give this book a try and let me know how it worked for you. You'll be surprised how fun coloring can be! Love it!!! This Color It adult coloring book is pricey, but there are so many large 1 sided mandala images on thick smooth pages! I don’t mind the price because of the quality! A page comes with it to prevent bleeding but the Color It gel pens don’t bleed through without it. I use it anyway. The images are larger so you can also use pencils. I love the spiral top so you can turn the pages easily and also tear the page off easily if you desire. It takes the Color It gel pens a tiny bit longer to dry on this paper, but it’s not bad at all! It still dries fast. I would recommend this book! I will be buying more of their quality adult coloring books! I can’t put this book down with my second set of Color It gel pens!

The coloring books from this company are THE BEST quality paper and printing! The spiral bound and perforation make the functionality superb too. I loved the designs in volume one more than volume two, but the quality means I’ll be working my way through all the volumes.

The notebook is of a good solid weight, with good spirals at the top, that work very well, and don't catch. The cover is solid and allows you to work with the book comfortably in your lap, without needing any other support. The Mandala's are nice, I would have liked to have seen fewer that were defined by such small lines, any I do not own fine tip gel ink pens. I also wish that the amount of black shaded in areas were not as often used in the designs. The last grump is the price of nearly $20 that I paid for the book, however, it IS a good quality with excellent paper, and numerous pieces, so I can see the justification of the price. 4/5 stars
