Very Sturdy and Great Design!
The media could not be loaded. I am a regular user of my home gym equipment. So much so that I had to order a new bar recently. I treid this Sporzon bar because of the reviews and the price. I am very happy I did. It is a solid bar that easily holds the amount of weight I need. I regularly lift about 185-200lbs on it both using the bench and on the ground for bent-over rows. I use 1 inch clamps on the ends to keep the weight from sliding as this model does not come with threaded ends for a threaded stopper. I also went with the 6 foot bar as it fit better on my bench set.All in all I have zero complaints. It functions as it is supposed to and is a great deal for experienced and new trainers.I highly recommend this product from Sporzon!

Excellent Barbell!
Contrary to a lot of what I'm seeing regarding the shipping/delivery of the bar, mine was delivered about 3-4 days after I ordered it. Also, to address any dimensional questions... I got the 6 ft long, 1 inch in diameter bar and the distance between collars is about 49 inches, so it WILL fit comfortably on any standard-sized bench/squat rack. This is an excellent barbell- very durable and robust. Given the considerably low price, I was a little unsure of how the quality would be prior to purchasing. I can safely say that I have put around 200 lbs on the bar without it bending and all weights stayed secure (with clips of course). I would agree with those that say it can handle over 300 lbs, easily. If shipping goes as it did with mine, you will not be disappointed with this barbell!

Perfectly fits with standard Squat racks and cages
This is an awesome barbell I've liked after returning two other small ones.I've loaded this sucker up with heavy loads for my bench and squats and it didn't flinch at all.Like the durability and strength of the barbell.Has almost 14' of sleeve length on each side of the barbell, which is perfectly good for fitting any plates obviously but I should mention the adjustable dumbells.I hang my Powerblock Pro series dumbells to the sleeves. And it leaves perfectly comfortable space towards outside and inside. So it won't slide and fall out and doesn't hit the cage due to dummbell measurements.Love this thing in a nutshellI'm giving a 4 for the very smooth sliding sleeves. Sleeves could be better in terms of having little bit of rough surface so that it holds the plates better. But still this is awesome

Great bag for your buck.
I ordered the wrong length. I have since reordered the proper length. The circumference is perfect though. My weights are older and the circumference isn’t olympic style, so I struggled finding the appropriate bar. They made the return easy, and the item arrived as expected, and I suspect it will be the same for the replacement I just ordered. The replacement fit as needed. :)

solid 30# bar - bit whippy, but better than nothing
Before I bought this bar, I was using a schedule 40 black iron pipe as a barbell. It crapped out around 250# and permanently deformed. This solid, two-piece barbell is much heavier and appears much sturdier - although it whips around under load, it returns to form quickly and there is no visible deformation after multiple heavy sets. Definitely worth the money. 4 * on sturdiness just because it isn't super rigid, but it's more than sufficient for what I've been using it for.

6 foot bar. Perfect for a home gym.
So far this bar is grest. I went with a 6 foot bar. Which at forst ibwas worried because im so uze to the 7 foot bar at the gym. No regrets tho. The 6 foot is perfect for my home gym. Ita just the right leanth. For the space i have to use it for. Now dont get me wrong.7 feet would be great. But really whats 6 inchs on each side. For me I couldn't notice. Differance. So for the price of 1 more foot. Incan live with out it.

Has One Very Dangerous and Fatal Flaw
Overall this bar is nice. It came appropriately packaged in a cardboard tube enclosed in a long cardboard carton. It looks fine. The inside-the-collars distance is 48" which makes it a close fit for my rack, but it does fit. The most concerning feature, though, is invisible until you try to use it. The 1" bar is a fraction too small for most 1" clamp collars. Even a 25 lb plate is heavy enough to defeat the clamp and slide off the end of the bar, which would be catastrophic during a lift with heavier weights. This is very serious: you cannot use most plate clamps on this bar. The only ones that work are the ones using a set-screw. Friction clamps, whether plastic or metal coil designs do not clamp tightly enough to secure the plates on the end of the bar. Fortunately, I have some of the old-fashioned set-screw clamps so I can use the bar. But the real problem is that I only discovered this by accident! I clamped a 25 lb plate on each end just to check the rack on my home gym equipment, and as I lifted the bar, the plate and clamp slid off the end! What if someone tried a really heavy lift? So BEWARE. The 1" bar is too skinny for most clamps.
