They work ok, but how long do you have to do it before seeing results

When I was offered this cupping set at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review I wasn't expecting much. I have a lot of experience doing fire cupping (glass cups with fire to create a vacuum) as a massage therapist and student acupuncture intern (I am not a licensed acupuncturist, this review does not professional advice), as well as some cupping with plastic cups and a tool that pulls out the air, and I didn't see how silicone possibly stack up. As soon as I got these silicone cups I started experimenting on myself and my family, and I have been thoroughly impressed. The silicone itself is quite thick and while it's flexible, it also retains it's shape well once put in place. Simply squeeze the cup, put on the desired area, then kind of squish it until the sides are popped out and the skin is pulled up into it. I can even do this on myself, and the large cups in particular feel great on my lower back. I find myself giving myself cupping treatments regularly, and I love being able to use them for fantastic self care.Do these cups create as much suction as I would get on a very good seal with fire cups? No, but nearly so! I can definitely raise a fair amount of flesh into the cup and get a decent red mark in places where I have stagnation, though purple is harder to raise. Plus these are so much more convenient, portable and suitable for the lay person. I don't have to worry about burns (though I've never burned anyone, as my training is good and I am careful), and I can use these anywhere without any extra tools. Another huge advantage of the silicone cups is that flexibility of the silicone enables me to get a seal in places where it would be difficult with a rigid glass or plastic cup, such as the deltoids (upper arms).These probably will not replace my fire cups in my future practice, but I will use them alongside fire cups. This is an amazing set for the money! Super great quality, and came in great time and better than expected!-Set came in a nice blue fabric bag, making it easy to store and keep together. Or gift!-Very thick and flexible cups. They work exactly as they should and will last a long, long time.-Two sets make this a double bonus in my book. You only need one set, so gift the other to a friend!-Cupping can be an amazing tool in your health and beauty arsenal. This is the ideal set for body and I doubt you would ever need to buy another.-DO look up techniques online or YouTube. Basic information comes with the set (which is great) but you'll really want to learn even more! This company also sells a body set (with bigger cups) and a set with both face and body.-Apply a layer of oil before using for a smooth and even glide across the skin.I love this set, no disappointments whatsoever and I highly recommend! There 6 silicone cups in the set. There are 2 large and 4 regular cups. These silicone cups are very thick. They come in a teal drawstring bag. I washed these silicone cups before using. I applied two of the large sized cups on my lower back. If you leave them on for more than 5 minutes, it will cause bruising. The bruising will eventually go away. So if you don't want people seeing bruises, I would only apply it to places that people can't really see.The large cups are for wider areas like the back or thighs and the regular sized cups are for the limbs. The suction is adjusted by how hard you squeeze them before applying it.I left the two large cups on for 10 minutes and it left some bruising. This is normal. It did help with the pain in my lower back. It will take a couple of week for the bruises to go away. You can also do a cupping massage and apply oil. I used the two regular cups for my legs.
