THis was OK, but tasted sorta chalky. Not as good as beef jerky, but perfect to get a taste of Australia before traveling there.

I bought this as a birthday present in addition to two other flavors (Wild Boar & Cajun Alligator) for my brother's birthday and he liked it so much that he shared it with some friends who also enjoyed the exotic meats. I did have a small sample of each batch out of curiosity and was particularly pleased that the jerky was not processed with sodium nitrate, sodium nitrite, MSG or any other artificial preservatives. If I hadn't have known that it was kangaroo meat that I was eating, I don't think I would have noticed the difference other than it was much more tender and had a better flavor than any other jerky I've had before. The order arrived quickly and although the price was higher than I would normally spend on jerky, the quality was good and it's not outrageous considering that it's made from animals not typically found on an average American farm in large numbers. Overall I was satisfied and would definitely recommend and probably buy again in a larger size.

I’m allergic to kangaroo. I was kinda wanting a real one. Then I was like; I wonder what they taste like. It’s a long back story. Funny as it is; I will never eat a kangaroo again. Five stars for the experiences.
