Wedding Bells for Woolworths

This series has been a terrific read for me. However, the last book had a very strange, disappointing and unexpected ending. It was definitely not a good twist and does not seem to fit the style of the author.

Basically, the characterization stayed true to earlier books. The author continues to capture the time. Not having WWII to use as a backdrop meant that she had to create more dramatic situations, but overall it worked.

A heartwarming, extremely engaging and well-written book.

This is a gift, so I haven't read it. I've heard good things about the stories.

Nothing I dislike about her books they have a real store with the English slang and real people story.
