These boots smelled like they were stored at a gas station or auto supply store. I had to leave the boots outside over night when I first received them because the smell was so bad. After a few weeks the smell is completely gone. The boots look great, but the underside of the soles are lined with some type of fabric, which eventually wears away, so initially they can be slippery. You have to be conscious of how you are walking, as I almost slipped and fell twice before I got the hang of wearing them. Otherwise, they are comfortable. I have to walk around all day for my job and my feet never hurt by the end of the day, when I wear these. So even though there were some initial drawbacks, they are worth keeping if you like the style.

I bought these after reading reviews to go with my western outfit for halloween party. I was very disappointed in the size. I am a true 6.5 shoe and 7 boots always fit great or are a little loose. The right boot slipped on easy and fit fine--BUT the left boot DID NOT! Ittook me to get a shoe stretcher from my mom to use to even get my foot in! No swelling or problems with my foot either. After that I had a rough time getting foot into boot but when did it was tighter than my right one. When I started to walk I had to be careful as there is NO anti skid on bottom either. I almost slid across the floor. Not too well made boot for the price. They do look good with outfit tho.

The boots were great for the price I paid. I've had them for a few months now and while they are holding up well so far, they are not made with super high quality material (hence the affordable price) so I'm not sure how long they will last. They could use some more padding in the sole. They became uncomfortable after wearing them for more than 30 minutes until I bought some insoles. Now they are more tolerable but still not a boot you can wear comfortably all day.

These boots are a great buy. They fit exceptionally well. I bought them a half size larger since my legs are swollen but really did not need to do that-- there was plenty of room. I am keeping them, though because in winter I will use heavier socks. They can be worn year round. I gave one star less because the sole cushion is not soft. I think I will put in another cushion but the boots are still a keeper.

I love it but the fit is not as expected. I suggest to do one size up. I usually wear size 9 shoes and I have to send it back in exchange to size 10 to make room for my socks. The heels are not too low nor too high which what I am looking for. For the price, it is a spot on. I hope it lasts.

I ordered these boots because I did not want to spend a fortune on something I would probably wear once or twice a year. They are nice but a little on the cheap looking side.

Well, it's been weeks, and the smell is still horrible. They fit ok, and are decently made for the price, but the synthetic smell has permeated my closet, and the one day I finally wore these shoes, I was embarrassed by the scent following me all day. I've tried all kinds of home remedies, but nothing seems to work. I'd send them back, but I did wear them that one time. Don't purchase unless you have some magic scent removal system.

After reading the reviews, I noticed that they seem to run slightly large. I ordered on the smaller side of my normal shoe range and they fit great. I recommend ordering about a half size smaller than you normally wear. These boots are wonderful! I have worn them several times to work and I walk a lot for my job and my feet don't hurt at the end of the day. They slip on so easily and feel very comfortable throughout the day. I definitely recommend these boots!
