Love it, with an asterisk
My 2-year old loves this book but… and I feel really guilty saying this… the awkward rhymes only make sense when I read it with a bad, American high school-level French accent - which my kiddo finds hilarious. I’m so sorry.

Love this picture book - read it to my little girl (3 yrs old) after she watched the movie, and she had lots of fun trying to find madeline, and follow the story. I remember this as a kid myself, and it was nice to see that the book, pictures, story is timeless.

My Grand daughter is 6 yrs. old. She enjoyed the story and the rhyming with a little history. I enjoyed reading it to her. I really liked it because it is a clean and innocent story of a little girl away at boarding school.
