They seem to be of good quality with bearings on the wheels so they roll very smooth. I don't recommend using the lag bolts that come with them. Instead use carriage bolts with lock nuts and washers to hold them in place. The wheel material seems to be a hard material versus a softer rubber wheel which is good if you have a very heavy load. The problem I see with the wheel itself is that they probably will not last on rough surfaces because of the wheel material. I believe they are more for a smooth concrete surface versus a asphalt surface. The asphalt will probably be very rough for the material the wheel itself is made of and wear them down like very rough sand paper. They are a fairly hard wheel.

The wheels were bought for a mobile miter saw stand and a table saw stand. I ordered and received all 8 casters.The locking mechanism is relatively easy to use when locking and unlocking the caster. The locking mechanism locks both the wheel from rolling and the spindle from turning. However, there is still a bit of slop after the caster is locked. Additionally, if the caster is locked in between "good" positions, it is possible to rotate the caster until it slips (and audibly clicks) into a good position and then is mostly immobile.Finally, while the baseplates are relatively thick (~1/8" ), they are not flat. In my case, one is slightly bowed in both directions, while others are twisted slightly. This won't be a problem for my projects, but it could be an issue for some purchasers.

These wheels were quite easy to install having come with everything you need. I used them to make fairly heavy rolling plant stands for my wife’s orchids. As such, smooth operation was a necessity. I also used them to make a heavy table for my Green Egg grill. They are plenty of wheel for the task. Sturdy and smooth!

I ordered the blue as the picture indicated casters that looked like they had good contact with the floor. Unfortunately, they were rounded on the bottom rather than flat (like the picture of the red ones only blue). Not a huge deal, still a great value. Feels like they have a bit of play in them though as even if the table isn't pushed it stlill rocks a little. Not the best choice for my new workbench.

These are extremely heavy duty and work perfectly, great value for the price!

Very, very nice wheels! I wanted to give 5 Stars! I Bought 3 sets of these, I gave it 4 stars because one of the sets came with too small of screws and washers. Middle screws in the pic are the size they should be, the 2 packages are what came with one of the sets. The other 2 sets had the right size with them.

I build a 3' X 8' platform and attached 6 of these casters to hold plants during winter. Casters were very easy to install. Wheels move so smooth. I move my plants in and out of the garage so easily now on the plat foam and water them. This also saved my back.

Good quality, Eady install and good price. I replaced the cheap casters on two rolling tool carts, and I couldn't be happier with the improvement!

Well, I wanted wheel movers, but all the ones online are expensive for what they are. Looking at the failures i came to the conclusion i was better off ordering better casters, and building my own.while building, my design places all the weight perfectly centred to the casters. when i dropped the jeep down i totally expected them to crush, but they are awesome. also another benefit was to get slightly larger wheels, which make rolling so much easier!So, I guess these casters are perfect! they handled massive abuse already with NO issues! I really tried to crush them with the jeep, but they didnt even slightly bend.I am pretty sure they are rated for what they are listed for. in my case, works out to twice as much as any other wheel dolly out there for a reasonable price, so i am doing pretty good.
