I ordered the 40 mm sphere. This is by no means, the size I ordered. The picture on the left is what I got, the second picture is a sphere that actually Is 40mm ( to the right of the one I was sent). The sphere I got also has a chip and crack in it. Very unhappy.

A beautiful gemstone! Arrived in perfect condition, no cracks or chips in the surface, and its colour is surprisingly uniform throughout.

Tiny and the color is incredibly dull and not even close to what is shown.

The Rhodochosite stone I received did not look like the photo online. The color is dull and I am wondering if this is a manufactured stone. Will not buy from them again.

I was startled to see a mostly brown sphere. Very dissapointed.This is a picture of other objects made from rhodochrosite. It is a predominantly pink stone that naturally displays bands of bright pink and pale pink, sometimes with some white (imagine lean bacon). Many times this stone is confused with Rhodonite, another pink stone, but this has only black spots, not white.While cleansing the sphere under water I felt oil on my hands. Then I knew why it looked brownish. Carver used a low quality stone, probably very pale pink with some white bands and oiled it to look darker. While mineral oil is used to enhance the apearance of some stones (emerald, for example), this treatment cannot be applied on all stones. In this case the stone looks darker, not darker pink, but brown. Appearance was not enhanced, but destroyed. It stained it brown and will get darker brown in time, as the oil oxidizes in contact with air. In this case I would have been much happier to receive a pale pink to whitish sphere than a brown one. That could have gradually changed to darker pink, in time, as a result of natural oxidation.I washed it with soft soap as much as I could, to take out the oil and I recovered a little pink colour, but in some spots the stone was more porous and has absorbed more oil (seen as brownish bands around the sphere).VENDORS, PLEASE TELL CARVERS/SUPPLIERS TO STOP OILING THIS STONE AND DESTROY IT. Darker is not always better.

Bought 3 from this seller so far (kynite, blue goldstone and rhodochrosite). Happy with the quality and price, although a bit disappointed about the colour of the rhodochrosite (I thought it will be more pinkish) but still good overall. I wish this seller will expand the type of Crystals it carry (like polished stones, palm stone, wands, pyramids etc) :)

Happy with what I received. They look good and at a great price.

The Kyanite spheres I got were not dark blue as shown in the picture.. Instead they were light blue/whitish.. Although, they do have a nice energy to them, quite strong..
