Dark vignettes
After Volume 2 gave a continuity to this Moon Knight run, this volume takes us back to the first six issues collected in Volume 1: each issue is a self-contained tale, a glimpse into a night in the life of the protector of night travelers, whether they are living or dead, rich or poor, human or canine. You don't need to have read anything previously to appreciate these stories, you just need to enjoy good art, and have an open mind to the minimalist storytelling employed. Don't expect the Avengers or X-men, Moon Knight is not that noble; he's not Deadpool, either, as he seems guided by a strong ethic. While the stories in this volume are basically series of one-shots, the is a recurring theme of Moon Knight's questioning of Konshu's motives, whether his god is really noble, and whether Spector is completely dependent on Konshu in his role as protector of the night. Again and again, the god is used to justify conflicting actions by Moon Knight and his adversaries. This is a quick read, but well worth it, and a collection that will stay in your mind long after you finish reading it.

Bloodstained Shepherd
Volume 3 of Moon Knight continues the streak of, for the most part, stand alone stories of Marc Spector protecting travelers of the night from those who would do them harm. Moon Knight Volume 1: From the Dead and Moon Knight Vol. 2: Dead Will Rise touched on this aspect, but volume 3 digs deeper into what it means to be in service to the spirit Khonsu. The art is reminiscent, if not as effective, of the previous volumes, but the bone crunching action is still well in place. There is a feeling of ambiguity to the relationship between Marc and Khonsu that adds weight to the series, something that volume 2 mishandled, but its fully explored here. Moon Knight continues to be a fascinating, action packed, shockingly accessible gem of a series, and while volume 3 doesn't quite manage to reach the heights of the first volume, it is still very much worth reading. I rate it a buy.

Great
It was a great read. I enjoyed the plot twists and how tells the reader that sometimes we are not always right.

Sweet
Better than Volume 2 in my opinion. Can't wait for the new show. A good time will be had, boom.

No mystery, but entertaining altogether
Like last volume, I am giving this one 4 stars due to the depiction of Khonshu. They make moon knight more of a believer of Khonshu than actually part of Khonshu. There was no mystery between the egiptian god and moon knight, unlike the first volume. However, the art is great and consistent. The multiple stories are entertaining and action packed. And overall it is very entertaining. It would have gotten 5/5 if it tackled more moon knight's DID (dissociative identity disorder), instead of making him a "believer", for lack of a better word.

4/5 This version of the Moon Knight character is not the most impressive (I still like the 2006 run and the 1980's run a lot ...
Art: 4/5Stories: 4/5This version of the Moon Knight character is not the most impressive (I still like the 2006 run and the 1980's run a lot better) but this collection is nice. The art could be better but it is good enough not vomit over and the stories are good. Blah blah blah.... the end.

Four Stars
A great character to read, very interesting story. I would like to see this character in the MU.

A bit disappointing
Considering this was the most difficult volume from this run to get hold of I expected more. The previous two books both had something interesting about them storywise, but this felt a bit of a damp squib, which was rather a shame as I usually really like Cullen Bunn. The art remained top notch throughout.

AMAZING!
After absolutely loving the first volume and being extremely underwhelmed by the second, I had lower expectations for the third volume of Moon Knight. Honestly, I was blown away. I thought it was incredible. The stories were all so different, and we got to see some heavy action and fight scenes, as well as some interesting twists. I honestly think it might even be slightly better than Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey's incredible first volume. If you're wanting to get into Moon Knight, I'd recommend getting the first and third volumes in this run. They are fantastic.

Travail d'amateurs
A oublier.

Thank you Doug Moench and Don Perlin!!!!
Moon Knight is hands down the most awesome hero in the entire Marvel Universe even Taskmaster Wouldn't fight him, He just a fantastic character to read about and the stuff that happens to him is insane but i do kinda miss him changing between Spector, Grant and Lockley but i am loving the new Mr.Knight, seriously why hasn't Moon Knight been given his own TV series yet this character would play brilliantly on screen diving into his split personality disorder and seeing the grim, dark, brutal vigilante of the night cracking skulls and breaking limbs (Well it is rumoured we might get a Moon Knight series on Netflix and if we do id think Andrew Lincoln should be Marc Spector but he'd be to busy with Walking Dead)!!!
