Dial for Men Odor Armor Antibacterial Soap, 3 Count, 4 oz Bars

My husband works in the refineries and sweats almost year round for work. Sometimes he develops a body odor type smell under his arms that will not go away, even after a shower. After doing some research, we figured out its a bacterial overgrowth from his armpits being wet so often. We gave this soap a try, and it takes care of the smell almost immediately. We have placed several orders of this soap and will continue to do so.

We have some weird sweat genes in our family, I can sweat watching a show about Sloths, I am also a fairly big guy: 6"1`, 230 lbs, in shape, but this with the sweat genes makes for a bad combination. We also live in an area that gets humid for a good portion of the year. So I am in full attack mode against body odor, I also combine this with  Degree Men Clinical Antiperspirant and Deodorant, Sport Strength 1.7 oz )It is hard to get excited about soap, but this does as advertised, great antibacterial properties, reduces body odor significantly.This used to be offered in the "Subscribe and Save" program, it is no longer a part of that, but I still stock up on it, it's worth every penny.

I know this is a goofy thing to review, i.e. soap, but I work outside as a contractor and noticed that despite using deodorant and showering, when I perspired there was still a certain, let's say pungent odor around. So as opposed to just plain Ivory, I tried this and it absolutely worked. No 'residual' odor from perspiring even in the worst heat and humidity. It does have a little fragrance to it but not over powering like an Irish Spring.

The main antibacterial ingredient in this soap does not contain triclocarban anymore, it now uses Benzalkonium chloride as a main ingredient.The FDA is banning a lot of antibacterial chemicals in the USA. I guess you need to visit a 3 world country to obtain a good antibacterial soap for a clean A**.Thank the FDA for taking care of us... Next vacation to mexico buy your soap.

Soap smells wonderful and skin does not dry out. It feels good to wash with.

Embarrassing to say but after a full day of work my lower body would have lingering smell that was pleasant to the nose. I tried regular soap but it didn't seem to fix the intensity of my body odor. After a quick google search I learned it could be because of bacteria buildup. After using this soap for 3 weeks, the smell completely disappeared.

My favorite soap. After using this, clean and fresh feeling lasts longer, compared to other soaps. Rinses cleanly but does not dry skin. Scent is good to me (neither floral nor citrus. A proper scent for adult men).It seems that Dial is removing triclosan and triclocarban (these were the "antibacterial" agents of their products) from their products, and replacing "antibacterial" words with something like "wash away bacteria". So I'm worried this Odor Armor bar may be discontinued. I wish Dial continues selling this Odor Amor bars after reformulating.
