Best Taro Roots ever!
These were the best taro roots. It was special since they are home grown here in the USA and fresh. Nice, firm and flavorful, without any bad spots. Looking forward to buying more of the same

Bad experience
By the time I received them most of them were spoilt and the taste was awful, the previous ones that I had bought were better

2nd Time: No good
My review is somewhat mixed. I have ordered this product twice: The 1st time, was perfect: A box with about 14-20 small taros; tasked delicious! The 2nd time though, I got what another reviewer posted in Oct. 2019: 4 extra large roots, barely edible-I found myself cutting out & trashing massive chunks os the thing.Unsure what the seller was doing on that second run, but I don’t plan on purchasing anymore from them.

Very interesting bunch of little tubers! Tasty too!
Very nice and very fresh product. A few were small. I was really hoping for the larger purple veined ones but these worked well and tasted great in a Thai dessert I made. A few of them are already growing in my dark root cellar with button tops/eyes like a potato. So I think those I'll plant and winter inside and take them outside in containers to grow a few more for next summer.- Update Summer 2017 - I tried to planter grow a few of these but it didn't work. Not enough sun or heat for them over the winter. I did find a local source of the larger purple Tarro at an Asian Market. I prefer the larger version but these did work well in a pinch.

Tarp roots
, I was little b apprehensive of ordering the Taro roots online. When I received the parcel, I was surprised to see the quality of the vegetable, it was amazing!

It is not taro as in the picture and the description, poison if you eat it.
We ordered it but received two giant taros, about 5"x 7" each. Amazon customer service helped to talk to the seller. The seller insisted it's edible, but we dare not. From Googling, they are Elephant Ear bulbs, containing a protein called asparagine and oxalic acid, which cause poisonous reactions to those who eat the plant. Common complaints after digesting elephant ears includes nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, burning of the mouth and throat, and swelling of the eyes or mouth. Just a warning to the buyers and the seller.

Garden delights
I wanted elephant ear caladiums for backyard pots. The nursery prices were staggering, and then I found this product online. The bulbs were numerous and in great shape. The 3 big bulbs bought a month earlier have only now started showing their worth. But 4 pounds of online heaven sprouted immediately and show no sign of slowing.I've heard that people eat taro. But for me, it's a garden ornamental.
