Perfect for my needs
The seller initially sent the wrong item and because I was the victim of a brushing scam earlier this year, I mistakenly assumed I was being scammed. I wasn’t. Appearance
For the price you cannot go wrong. We replaced an old one with this and the construction is solid. Very important to have the 2 rails connected at the bottom as this makes the railing more sturdy.

Was not properly sized to accommodate 3 steps as promised. Very disappointed.

Don’t forget the escutcheons
This worked great for us. My poor hubby spent 4 hours in the brutal sun installing it, but it works great. Don’t forget to buy the metal plates that hide the feet, cos they aren’t included.

Extremely poor workmanship and NO quality control on the finish
The handrail was dented and the finish was completely AWFUL at the welds and other areas on the handrail. Holes at the weld as it looked like someone took a grinding wheel or sandpaper to try and polish the stainless steel to make it look shiny. I would have been embarrassed to install this by my pool. No quality control. Needless to say, IT WAS SENT BACK and we ordered an Inter-Fab D5D049 5 Bend Deck Mounted Swimming Pool Stair Rail for $60 more and the Inter-fab/SR Smith one is 1000 times nicer and better.

Great pool railing installation
With my arthritis needed railing to steady my exiting pool at sallow. The railing was perfect for that. The best way to support and anchor a railing is to core drill holes in concrete. I used concrete bit drilling holes around outline then knocking center out. Set and plumb railing then pour grout around railing in cored hole. Grout available at HomeDepot.

Great quality hand rail
Very happy with our handrail purchase. It was one of the cheapest options out there but it did not lack in quality. This is a great option vs the more expensive ones.
