I recommend this book about service management. I am doing a projet about this subject and it is have been useful.

I thought it would be helpful for professionals, but it really is targeted to students

While the book I ordered claims to be the US edition its obviously not just by the way the word organization is spelled with s instead of z. In addition on page 79 it gives an explanation of the lifetime value of a customer and uses the symbol for pounds instead of US dollars. Other then that the book is in good condition and hopefully the case studies and examples are not different or I will be in trouble in the upcoming weeks of class.

Great book to learn conceptually and maybe practically (but not numerically) the world of service operations. It really explain how those operations works. Is important to highlight that a numerical approach will be necessary to master the topic.

It is an excellent book.It is very easy to read and comprehensive.I like it, I recommend this book.

Bought this book for a reasonable price on this. I was doing an Operations and Service Management module at university and surprise surprise this book was the core text.Thanks to this book I managed a reasonable mark of 65%...I used this both for my Report coursework and the exam. Very useful! I don't know if it's simply because I liked the module, but I actually really liked this book also. Selling my old copy also if anyone is interested.
