Love this big shovel!
As many have said, this shovel is great for light snow in the 3-4" range. I did not have a problem lifting even heavier snow with the shovel, but because of the width (48"), it did have a tendency to tip one way or another if there was more snow on one side. The fact that it covers such a great area and pushes the snow the sides of the driveway make this a quick job. It's probably taking half the time or less for me to shovel our driveway. But it's also great at very quickly cleaning up after snowblowing.I found that the plastic blade does a very nice job scaping the concrete effectively. It feels very sturdy in the hand.Assembly was not easy, but manageable. It took a lot of leverage and force to get the screws to get into the plastic in order to assemble to handle to the blade. But if that means it won't come off or loosen, then I'm good with needing to apply that much effort. I'm 52 6'1" 200lbs and workout 4-5 days per week and it took all I had there to get them in. Using a smaller drill bit to pre-drill would have made the process much easier and I highly recommend. My wife who does not usually shovel had to use it while I was traveling and said she loved it. No better endorsement from my perspective! My neighbor has the 36" and loves it. When my current smaller shovel wears down I will buy a smaller version of this for sure!I hung the shovel using the bracket and screws that came with the shovel. Do not rest on floor or it will warp according to others. Maybe I just missed it, but I didn't realize it came with a wall bracket. It was simple to install and will prevent the warping.

Excellent shovels for pushing light snow.
These are excellent shovels. I have the 36” and the 48”.Made my life a lot easier living in the lake effect snow area of Michigan.Good for all sub 30degree(lighter) snow up to about 3”.Snow blower only gets 1/10 the use it used to.The assembly is easy. Need a drill w screwdriver bit.

Works very well
So I’ve had this come through my newsfeed a lot over the past 3 years. I’ve always wanted to try it. I’ve always thought it would be nice to have a shovel twice as wide. It actually worked really well. The only thing I would say is that it moves so much snow that it gets hard to push quickly! It works great for light fluffy snow. It was nice to make a pass and actually feel like I was getting somewhere though! Also, thanks to the review that suggested drilling pilot holes when attaching the handle. It definitely made a difference! Overall, I’m happy with the shovel! It cut my shoveling time in half!Update: I came back after a few more uses to add to my review. I still keep my old shovel on my back deck to shovel it off when it snows. I shoveled my driveway with this shovel, then went to my deck with my old one. I can’t even believe I used to shovel my entire driveway with it! This one is SO much better and takes SO much less time! I am so happy I finally bought it!

IT'S SOCERY I TELL YOU!
I am not exaggerating when I tell you that it took me 10 minutes to plow a substantial driveway (a woman retiree). I looked at my watch when I started and ended. It was unbelievably easy, the shovel is very light weight and the motion is smooth. You just glide it on the drive from end to end, and tip it up to dump the collected snow. I plowed 3 inches of snow fairly effortlessly. A man in a truck with a plow attachment stopped to compliment my work! Do note that if you have a bump or ice on your driveway you have to lower the handle to just above the ground to ease over it, you can't push through it by using your foot against the back of the blade. My daughter-in-law put my shovel together for me, she said it was simple. The only semi-hard part (which I did) is you have to drill in three screws that go from the blade clamp to the handle, the holes are not pre-drilled (though they put dimples into the metal for placement) so you have to put a lot of weight on it.

Well-Designed Snow Pusher For Clearing 2 Inches or Less Snow
This well-designed pusher will clear 2 inches or less snow from flat surfaces. Assembled shovel is approx 5-6 pounds, most weight is in the blade. Blade is 1/4 inch thich, 10 inches in length high (curved), made of what appears to be decent quality opaque plexiglass. Predicted weak point is where handle attaches to blade holder, so recommend avoid using blade to lift any snow. Also recommend cease pushing at any sign of resistance when pushing, such as when blade hits ice or packed snow, or when amount of snow accumulated in front of blade begins tumbling to side. Seems most efficient when used only to push snow in straight lines. For clearing accumulated snow, dense snow, or compacted snow, use in tandem with a second shovel, such as a sleigh shovel [...]. Method is to make a pass with sleigh shovel to remove compacted, deeper snow, then use plow to remove leftover, and continue to use plow to keep areas clear by piling snow to side, as snow continues to fall. Then use plow to push snow off of driveway etc. I have used the snowplow for three snowfalls to date; anticipate durable enough to last for a few years if not used in manner that stresses blade attachment points.

4 footer ..4 footer... 4 footer
Been waiting for a couple inches to try this out . We got 2" today and this thing cleaned up quick like. I would say 4" is most this boy can handle efficiently. I already jave had a 3 foot push plow on wheels that works like a street plow and pushes snow to left or right with each pass . Problem with that is your having to move same snow several times . This monster is quicker and cleaner for sure. I cleared 10 car drive in like 10 min. Seems well built but only time will tell . A little pricy upfront but if it last at least 10-15 years, it's a bargain .

Cleans the driveway in half the time
I've been using this shovel for the past few weeks. It's fantastic for those days where it snows 2 inches or less, as its easy to push all the snow off the driveway. With the 4 foot wide blade I can quickly clean up the entire driveway much faster than I used to with my old standard shovel. This product is high quality. Highly recommend it and would buy it again.
