If you are excepting to get a cute little music box that you can wind up and listen to it play, you will be sadly disappointed. The only way to hear the music is to continously turn the little crank.The burlap bag is smashed into the same small box that the music box is packed, so it requires a bit of flattening to make it look presentable.I had purchased 3, one for each of my grown daughters. But once had the music boxes in my hand, I knew there was no way I would give these as a gift.Do not purchase this item. Im sure you can find something nicer, with a little more thought put into it.

The engravings are so small the letters tend to blend, was slightly hard to read. After ordering this the first time, and them sending me the wrong box, I returned it and reordered the same box, just for them to send me another wrong box again, but that one was missing the gift bag. I ended up just doing a refund.

The "Happy birthday" inside is so light, you can BARELY READ IT! The little burlap bag could've been nice, but the bag was CRAMMED into the same little box that the music box was in! I think that is what made the CRANK NOT CRANK WELL!

When my son was young, I use to sing "You Are My Sunshine" to him every morning to wake him up. He is 25 now ~ he really likes this box. This box was purchased as a memento.
